If your in a hand and you see the flop come out with 2 cards of the same suit.....for example 10h, 5h, 7c........What are the odds of any given player at the table having 2 hearts in their hand? Assuming you have none in your own hand

It's going to depend slightly on preflop ranges but just quickly here on a two tone flop where your opponent (in a heads up pot) can hold any of the remaining unaccounted for cards at equal probability, I can tell you the odds of you playing against a flush draw are approximately 5.2%. If you're in a multiway flop situation the odds that at least one of the other players in the pot hold a flush draw would be higher than that of course. The answer depends on the exact number of players.

2 cards suited is 24% per player. About 1 in four chance they match the flop.
So heads up usually not.......usually. Your mileage may vary.

I may be very wrong but shouldn't the chances of any player being dealt 2 suited cards be the same no matter the number of players?

If you're up against 5 hands, the chance of one of them being two suited cards is greater than if you're up against one hand.

It's not just odds of them being dealt either. It's odds of them being dealt, played, and then the flop coming with two of that suit. So it depends a lot on opponent's preflop range.

Thats why I said 24% PER player. If you are dealt a diamond the odds for another one pre flop are 24%. Does not matter the number of players.

If they are playing against me the chances are good that they have the two hearts and hit the flush on the river.

so there are 52 cards in the deck before dealt to any player!

you have none

there are 13 suited cards

2 on board now, and total 3 card on flop

so there are 11 suited and 52-3-2=47 total cards left.

___________

for giving player, he has two cards , need to be 2 cards from 11 suited among the 47 cards.

therefor the possibility is

11/47 X (11-1)/(47-1)=5.08%

The above post made me realize I made a slight error when I was converting to a decimal in my head. It is in fact ~5.09% and not ~5.2%. Probability of at least one player holding a flush draw on a two tone flop would then be 1 - (1026/1081)^n where n is the number of players in the hand.
