I have played no limit off and on for maybe 2 years with so so success, however after reading a few chapters on plo i was able to take off 10x's better than i was at no limit holdem. Would I be crazy to just run with plo and try to get crazy good with it in lieu of no limit holdem?

Play whichever game gives you the biggest profit.

Apart from folks that are genuine recreational players, surely the only reason to play is to make $$$$.

Therefore, if you make more at plo, play plo. If you make more at HE play HE.

Simples.

Well no limit holdem is definitely more popular but if you're making money in plo then there is no reason to focus all your effort in no limit. There will probably less people playing plo because it's less popular but go for it!

watch out! plo is much swingier than holdem...so if you immediately did 10x better than you did in holdem, it could be just that you were on the good side of variance for the time being.

being a live game player i have found that the swings in plo and plo8 are much smaller than in nlhe and have made the majority of my poker money in plo and plo8 over the coarse of about a 40 year poker career. i would suggest you stick with it .

As a player of no limit, i have not been able to experience any good runs in pot limit. Maybe its my playing style and i dont know how to adjust it. I would listen to toHenry Minute and play the one that is most profitable . Anyone have any tips on how to adjust to a pot limit game as a no limit player?
