Hey, guys. I'm a poker noob. I fell in love with the game a year ago and I've been playing on poker stars for 2 months now. I already lost over 1000 bucks, but money is not really my concern. I live in Japan and I have a decent job. What worries me is the fact that I truly suck at a game I love. It sort of hurts. It's a numbers' game and I love numbers. However, I'm the kind of person who needs a gentle push in order to learn. If you're the kind of person who likes a challenge, I'd love to be your apprentice. Again, I'm not hopeless, I just need some guidance.
If you make a good player out of me, and if money is an issue, I can either pay, or give 50% of anything I win the first year after you make a player out of me. I hope to hear from you!
Thank you!

the largest problma you have is that if you do not consider your losses as a problem or money is not a problem should fold the poker world and the other is that the most likely 're playing out of your level and want to get into very high tables recommend reconsider that little problem about money and empiezes from scratch playing micro limits cash in 1 cent 2 cents blind and also start improving your game and climbing all little by little

I play poker for about seven years and I'm still on micro limit my mistake is that when I switch will build a bankroll almost to a higher limit and my bakroll: 0 but if you do not care for the money play for play money. My advice is to only play micro limit and to study

There are a lot of staking places on 2+2 I suggest you do it there. You likely will have to do some of it on their terms though, because it is easy to say one thing and do another.

Where in Japan? I lived in Okinawa at Kadena AFB for almost 7 years as a child.

What games are you interested in playing? Cash? SNGs? MTTs?

If it's MTTs, send me a private message and we can discuss things.

Yeah coaches probably aren't a bad idea. But if you ever want to be very good, you're going to have to fiddle around the basic mechanics of probability outcome calculators, even write your own code.

OP, be sure to be very careful when you chose someone to help you.Cause there are alot of people who will act like they can help, but in reality are not qualified as very few players can beat the game themselves.

oh yeah thats a very good offer..i dont know man , even if everybody tells you to learn the theory in poker thats not gonna be enough... you have to find a style of play that works with your luck...( for ex for me if i play aggresive i ussulay loose a lot while others are getting the biggest staks in a tourney playng the same style )...to do that u need practice...play and play and play...even if you loose money u win experience that will help you win money in the future...think about it and pm me for more :))

You must first start with the micro-limits to get the experience of playing poker. Even if money is not a problem, it is not to go to the higher limits

I would question the quality of information from anyone who wants to coach micro play... I am good not pro but I would say much like someone offering to stake me (which I have had a lot of offers) why would I spend time doing that when I am making a profit playing? and why would I split my winnings when I can play with my own money...

Beware any offers and ask to see an ROI...

Wow, thank you, guys are so helpful! I never expected south help from people I could be meeting at the poker table. The " competition", so to speak:)
Locco, some of these players ( like Marginal) for example, are really good. They make serious cash at micro stakes. But they can't play 24/7. So if you could share your knowledge with somebody and get half of what they mKe when they play like you, wouldn't you do it?
I would.
