Hy,i am a begginer player.I started playing some months ago,and at the moment i play at 5NL on PS.
I begin the session well,i manage to go up 2-3 buyins, but after a time i lose the buyins and i lose another 10-15 $.
I wanted to ask for some advice, any will be well received.
Has it happened to you and if it did what did you do or what do you do?
Thanks in advance !!

Know your limits. No one can play A game forever. Only when your B and C game are profitable too you can play long sessions. So until then keep breaks, small ones and big ones, sports and walking and eating away from the pc. My A game lasts about 20 minutes in zoom, then B came continues till about 2 hours, after that I go directly to F game.

There is no strict time limit though, it's a feeling that I make out of ordinary moves, sometimes it takes longer to notice. So if you are tired A game lasts shorter and so on.

Question, how long it takes you to win 2 to 3 BI?

Your not the only one, this also happened a lot to me. I would get up to 3-4 x my buy in then take some bad beats. A lot of it is just simple variance. My first suggestion is to set an amount at which to quit and move tables.

try moving tables more often may well stop other players getting a good read on you

Well it depends from session to session.I play zoom too,so on a good day i manage to win in 15-20 minutes, and on other days 1-2 hours. So is it ok to quit while i'm ahead?
I know that only playing and practice u will get better so i think that's why i go on,when i see i played 100-200 hands and i alreaday have 15 $ i wanna play more...

try to leave the table and join another one after you double or triple your stack because 100bb are enough to play comfortably and if you are playing with 300bb you might lose a hand to another player with a similar stack and lose 300 bb in one single hand, so unless no one at the table has a big stack, my advise is to leave the table and join another one unless there are lots of weak players on the table. also try to play with good hands and take advantage when you are in a good position ( cutoff, button)

Just take a break.
Always winning is not possible!!!
On this break you will re-adjust to the correct build of the game. Maybe you just tilt

not to do microdeposit and save money on the normal starting bankroll, and then to tear opponents quietly)

Have you been a successful player on those limits for some period like two weeks or a month? You must set a goal for you and try to follow it up.
Set a time frame that you will sit on the table. Maybe after an hour you are starting to lose focus. This is something very common. On how many tables are you playing? This is also important. Maybe you must try to reduce the number of tables.

I do the same thing. My A game may deteriorate after several hours on same table. So I will sometimes just get up, take a 10 minute break, and sit at a different table(s). It will help with your focus as you May (may not) have different opponents and must really focus to get some reads/tells/player types/ or allow your hud to speak to you.... ;)

Good luck at the tables!

I set limits for myself. 3BBs are good to leave and find something else. On the other hand, I do also play 2 tables at a time so I can manage the bankroll by having a back up plan.
