I have been leveraging the SB lately and want to know if it is the correct move or not.

It goes like this:

I am in sb and dealt 7/10 off or the like. There are 3 or 4 limpers before me so I call. A flat board flops. No straight draws or flush draws showing and no high cards. I lead out with an 80% of pot bet.

I only do this against tight players and only if the flop is very dry.

So far it has been working really well. Is this a good way of stealing or am I just playing with fire?

with so many limpers that is a pretty dangerous play imo that no one hit

... and what will happen if someone is just limping in with a low pocket pair from early position and hits the flop?

Well since everyone limped in the pot it is small usually. You do not see a lot of people limping in when the blinds are big. I think this is mostly because the week players are gone and those that are left are either good or tight with chips trying to hold on.

So let's say blinds are 10/20. Three players limp in and it comes to the sb. I call for 10 against 70 and wait for the bb to check or raise. If bb raises, it is an easy fold.

Flop comes very dry and I open with a 60 chip bet. There has not been a huge investment. If there are callers then on the turn you check or fold or if you hit on the flop raise.

Remember I am only making this move against tight players and not against loose players or those that do not understand position.

It was one of the old-time pro's who said "if they're checkin', i'm bettin'." The only problem comes if you get stubborn and push your position if someone calls or raises your bet. Otherwise, all you are doing is playing an aggressive style to win the hand against their perceived weakness. I really don't see that you can get in big trouble here.

Playing with fire in principle dangerous, so I would not recommend sooner or later will burn.
