Other day playing a freeroll someone with 12 BB in button made all in. I was SB with 25 BB with AJ, I made my all in and I lost it. Did I play correct?

How many players got in this hand?
Did you have some information about this player? how he was playing?
Depending on this, it might be right or wrong.
But it's a good play, it's ok.

That was the problem. No information, new table. Everyone else before him fold

I think 25BBs is really too much to call 25BBs with AJ , it's not really a strong hand , if you had less than 15 it would be correct , but this time you should wait for a better spot to make your move

you need to understand when it is right to do and when not to put everything on the line need only when convinced one hundred percent that I would win the hand

In tournaments anything can be argued to be 'right'.

You potentially were vs QK QQ etc so in a way the move in itself was a little optimistic as he hadn't raised less.

You seem to be looking for a cookie-cutter formula to win in poker. There is no such thing.

AJ in that spot is never going to be a fold. Re-shoving to isolate is definitely the right play. Sometimes your going to make the right decision and your going to lose. Don't let the fact that you lost the hand put doubt in your decision making.

Absent any reads I think it's maybe a little loose, but defensible. For me a bit would depend on the stack size of the big blind - if they're a big stack then I might rethink. If they're a small stack then I wouldn't be as worried.

Effective bet was only 12BB (villain's stack size), not 25BB.

That's a recipe to go broke in tournament poker - you'll get blinded out before you get enough nut hands that pay off.

Yes the card is good TJ but not strong it interrupts TQ-TK a lot 12bb it was necessary to see the flop and then decide,
But well done that could risk and drop many so do

I think that all in is good only to do when you have hands like aa,ak,aq or kk because other hands have a really low chance to win and this give you more chance to win and dont go all in too often ,better play safe.

AJ is not in a position hand to play all in... was a blunder..

In order to give an objective opinion on this game situation we must first know what type of player was on the button .... if it is a player who only plays a very tight range of strong hands ... possibly I would have retired in that Hand ... but if it is a player that plays a wider range of hands ... I would have played all in although that means losing my hand
