AK vs 22 would be 51% in favour of 22.

AK is a drawing hand, depending on stacksize I don't usually go all in prefolf as it's always a flip.

AK is one of the hardest hands in poker.
It can become a diamant after the flop, but without an A or K on the table, it's worth nothing.

AK is a very strong hand, which, however, often loses. Loses because with active preflop action remains against a narrow range of hands, in which a significant part - pairs. Chances are 22 against AK preflop is 52 to 48. And yes AK is always underdog agains any pair before flop. Sometimes we need to gamble if we want to win big. When your opponent shove preflop and you decide play AK or not it all depends on the tournament in which you play and the level of the blinds. If we deep 100bb or more better fold (only if it's not a fight for the bounty), if we had 50bb or less we can call it, even in multipot, for example, against the three opponents, in which QQ, JJ, TT, our AK will have more than 30% (despite the fact that each individually lose).
Everyone decides how to play AK or AKs, my advice - watch your opponents and, depending on their style of play, play AK aggressively or just fold it on flop or even pre flop. Agains LAG player I call it, again nitty - easy fold. And of course the value of the tournament is set to.

So you think if we are not hit a pair in the flop we should fold?

If no luck, it doesn't matter what kind of hand in the draw

Thanks dude this was best response so far.Thats how it should be played properly but in if you play on tournaments like me (most off the time freerolls because im broke :) you will find that the blinds rapidly increase so what i think is when you had the hand like this in that kind of type tournament that is the shot in one direction all lose or all win.

It's a flip with a low pocket pair but do not underestimate the power of AKo or AKs.

Will you played it hardly if you miss the flop with them?

All in preflop is lucky if you have AA in hand. But usually I also paid or increased AK

Definitely want to see that flop. But in 100bb cash stacks, I won't go AI except with laggy type pushing the action. I won't 4bet with it, but surely will 3bet in most cases.

Dont fall in love with your AK. when someone pushes all in preflop i would only call if i can cover his stack, if not i would fold.
If the flop does not favor my AK and someone bets big or pushed i would usually fold.

AK is a very strong hand, which, however, often loses. Loses because after the active bets preflop, AK remains against a narrow range of hands, in which a significant part is pocket pairs, and any pair has an advantage against unpaired overcards. So that pocket pair 22 is an eternal coinflip (heads or tails), and in your case just unlucky. In general, AK on the preflop loses to pocket pairs, but wins against other cards.

I hate this card, I have AKo, and opponents shove all-in, I call. He shows A7s and on Flop come 7, J, 9, Turn 4, River Q and I'm out (level XVII No limit Holdem)

AK is certainly one of the most overplayed hands. Its real value is how its played and how much fold equity you can get out of it. Hopefully you can play AK strong enough that hands like 22,33,44,55, fold to you. It doesn't play well post-flop. ie. You get called by 33 and the flop is A39 rainbow. Hard to get away from....

I find that 22 is a favorite over AK thanks to being an already made hand.Plus 22 still has a chance to improve if saîd a or k does come out.Id play the 22 but I find myself very scared to call an ALL IN with it, yet AK I'm quite eager to shove.......and i wonder why i keep losing LOOL

I won KK with 22 but i know that that was pure luck. He had KK and small pair on flop, but I had full with that pair on flop and 2 on river. It was very risky, but I got feeling that I need to play that.

I'm a huge fan of AK as you are very rarely in a terrible spot to get your money in when HU. You're only way behind AA and KK, but you block combos from both. You flip vs 22-QQ when all-in and your hand has decent post flop/cbet equity on a ton of boards.

Basically, there has to be a very good reason as to why I won't play or get my money in with AK.
AK vs 22 would be 51% in favour of 22.
This is only if hands are all-in preflop. If hands aren't all-in, then AK has more equity vs 22 as there very few boards 22 can continue on. 22 would have to flop very strong to continue post flop, other wise, it's a really easy c-bet for AK to take down the pot.

Also, preflop, AK is a hand we can easily raise or 3 bet with, but not so with 22 unless you're jamming it in. So, AK pre and post flop aggression > 22.

I think if the board is super wet and don't have a decent draw/backdoor draw, then check-folding with AK is fine.

On dry flops, AK should definitely be betting out. Especially in position as you'll pick up the some of the time.
