I mentioned that I had long struggled with the mathematical concepts in poker, specifically odds, equity and EV but I feel I now am getting to grips with them, so could I just ask a few questions to confirm my understanding of equity and odds?

First of all, if I figure I have 33% equity Vs my opponents range would this make me a 2:1 underdog and him 2:1 favourite with 66%?

And the following

25% - 3:1 underdog?
80% - 4:1 favourite?
10% - 9:1 underdog?

55% - 1.5:1 Favourite?

Thanks again.

They are right except 55%.

I think 60% would be 1.5:1 favourite and 55% would be 1.22:1 favourite.

If I think I have 64% equity Vs villains range but I think I am actually behind say to an overpaid, would it be a mistake to call a bet on the flop? Should I be raising and getting AI with such a large amount of pot equity?

you're initial post is mostly correct and no it would not be correct to fold if you believe you have 64% equity against villains range, if he has an overpair you will generally find out either on the turn or the river based on his betting pattern, i believe mathematics is an overrated concept of poker, it is of course somewhat necessary and you sound like you are on the right track so keep up the good work.
