My poker history.
My 2016 year was devoted to poker. When I started, I did not know anything about poker. I learned from the guidebooks there - https://www.pokerstarter.life/. Then went to practice on freerolls and conditional chips, and then introduced several times the amount of $ 20-30. tried different MTT, a bit of a zoom cache.
As a result, sailed from 50-100 to 0 $. I think that I lacked discipline. I will not go into details.
Now...
Now I intends to play certain MTT and usual cache. I have not read any books on poker before. Please advise good books for MTT and cache. As many books as possible, because I will need to find books translated into Russian)

Since there are no councils, perhaps I will choose:

Harrington on Cash Games and Harrington on Hold 'em.
I hope this is a good choice)

Mastering Small Stakes No-Limit Hold'em: Strategies to Consistently Beat Small Stakes Tournaments and Cash Games by Jonathan Little.

I'm thinking about getting this book. Not sure about finding a translation though. Looks to be what you're looking for.

first off, both the suggestions above are excellent! any book by Harrington would be good, he did a two part book on MTTs that is excellent. here are some more because you have to find them in Russian.

Phil Gordon Little green book or little Blue book
Doyle Brunson Super System
Gus Hansen Every Hand Revealed (great MTT book)
Barry Greenstein Ace On The River

watch everything you can on You Tube
Type in "Poker Small Ball Instruction" or "card runners"

If you would like to win instantly...
Play only very good cards from the best positions (dealer, one off, hijack)
you will see an immediate change in fortune if you do that.

Actually a pretty good book, I finished it about a month ago and don't really have any complaints about it but in general I'm a big fan of Jonathan Little as a teacher.

In response to the question, another good book that you might want to check out for MTT's is the Kill Phil/Kill Everyone books and Raiser's Edge, which is another book with those two. All of them are a little dated but they should still offer a decent amount of info on how to make some deeper runs in MTT's. As far as any of them being in Russian I have no idea but if you get it on a kindle or something like that there might be an option to translate it for you?

Good to know about Little. Been meaning to read his book. Have you read any of his other books or tried his videos?

Yeah I've read his Secrets of Professional Tournament poker (Volume 1 and 3) and both we're really helpful, but the thing with that one is that they are definitely really geared toward big stack play really getting quality play in that sense but still a good read. Then Excelling at No limit holdem is a really great book but it's not just Little's since a bunch of other people break down different strategies, but it might be one of my favorite books in general. I don't watch a ton of his videos just because I'm not a big video watcher in general but the ones of his I have I really liked, I think in general he's a really good teacher. I mainly listen to his podcast (the weekly hand review) and I think it's a really solid tool because he really breaks down the hand he's playing and how to play it in the most +EV way and his entire thought process with it. One thing I really like to do with his podcast is to keep pausing it and coming up with my own lines and hand reading during it and see how I compare to him.

Thanks a lot. I'm going to check out that podcast. I wasn't aware he had one. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Also Excelling at No limit holdem sounds great. I'm going to look it up. Cheers!

I would like to suggest a book that is not at all about game strategy but all about the mental strategy instead. To me this is probably one of the best book one can and should read about poker!
I would say it is really fundamental to anyone seriously interested in improving.

The Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler

Thank you all)) Here, what books I managed to find in translation:

1) Jonathan Little. Secrets of professional tournament poker.
2) Ace on the river. Barry Greenstein.

3) Super System. Doyle Brunson.
4) A little green book. Phil Gordon.

Now I have something to read))

I thought I posted something yesterday but it does not show up so here I come again.I would like to suggest a book that is not about the game strategy but entirely about the mental strategy and attitude necessary to succeed.

The Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler.

To me that is a fundamental book anyone really interested in improving should read!
