Im a beginner playing mostly sng looking for advice. Ive read Harrington's tournament books (more for stt i think) as well as " kill everyone" which taught me alot. What are the best things a novice can do to get better over time? thanks in advance.

For experience practice super strict bank roll management.
My typical buy in is 1/100th of my bank roll and cash out 1/5th of my bank each month.

Make that even tighter. If you play at a site that offers them stick to .10 SnG's.

Set goal amounts before you move up.

As for the reading: Harrington wrote some great books in the day. When they first came out I read them all and loved them.
Some would say they're outdated but over my years of poker I'd say those were the best I've read and I'd say my swings are solidly manageable.

Continue to play, read, watch videos and understand the game. It is very complex and always evolving as we all try to out smart each other and play optimal. Enjoy the journey and good luck

Hi!
Of course first of all you have to train a lot, read books, watch youtube videos and live streams on twitch. I think the best chioce for you is to read "Polished poker" by John Anhalt. It's free to load and includes a workbook. The workbook is paid but useful because includes different tasks and questions that help to better learn the material.
In addition you can use training software like leak buster, ace poker drills and others. Such software can enhance your training process and improve your skills.
