Seems Sippy is new to the card games. After a month or so playing every day, appears you must watch the betting in the freerolls. Your hand may appear a winner, but unless it is AA or KK or AK and they bet Allin then you may lose. Appears free rolls are not normal poker.

Patience seems to be the key even if you have 22 or 33 or 44. Small paired are good if they are not Allin in free rolls.

The goal is always final table - taught to get there.

Sippy :)

The best advice I can give is to remember there's more to freerolls than people think. The more you play the more you'll see there more cards you can play and win. Sometimes it's not even about the cards you playing but what you can make the other person think you have.

Freerools in my oppinion are games very difficult to play because you have AA and raise for 4x but there are too much calls and the AA can lose easily with too many players in the hand.Yesterday I lost with KK against 3 5 off,the board was 2 4 Q K A I lost for a straight.

Freerolls are tricky because you get a lot of loose players, drunk players or just people that have no clue what they're doing and just wanna play hands. Playing tight and in position early will give you the best chances at chipping up but you won't escape call stations (where basically being aggressive means nothing) or all-in preflop.

just play premiums until late reg is over then loosen up a bit and if you play solid and be patient you'll make it late most times.

In freerolls you gotta play a little less tight then other real money tournaments, Since in freerolls they tend to play any 2 cards.

In freerolls I find playing TAG playstyle to be working quite good. Tighten up, wait for big hands and when you get a big hand.. You guessed it! Bet it BIG

Freerools are bingo sections except the cardschat freerools at PS ACR and so on,but why is CC freerool different than the others? The answer is that the CC players have more skills than the beginers that play in the rest of the rooms.

There is generally more variance in Freeroll poker, so you will have to accept that and adjust to your opponents. Patience is a key skill in any poker game, but if you keep playing the free rolls and working on your game you will figure out how to beat them.

If you get close to the money bubble, or the final table bubble, play a wider range of hands. You can often min-raise and get folds, even off a short stack because most stacks are short in the later stages of tournaments. Try and find spots to shove against players who are opening too wide and are likely to fold if you shove. It takes time to learn how to play them, and you'll need to make adjustments when you start playing for real money. The adjustments will be smaller as you progress to the micro-low stakes games, players still make many mistakes. At mid stakes there are still many recreational players who work for a living and have money to burn, so the games are profitable if you put in the effort.

I agree with a lot of the comments here. Freerolls are definitely a very different game to any other kind of tournament. They can be fun though, and you’ll see a LOT of different player types. It’s really difficult to discern the player types until you’re in deep so you just have to go with the population reads others have pointed out.

As always, I think the main thing is patiently waiting for your card.
