so I feel confident in beating anybody I know around town lol, and I feel like im catching on to being a half decent online player, but my bankroll just keeps going up and down, but really staying at the same place. do you guys have any tips or videos or anything that took your game to the next level? I am trying to build a non deposit bankroll so I only play 1c2c games or 50 c sit n gos. should I just try to step it up? or wait until I consistenly go up from this level before I step it up?

It really is tough, very tough I think the cards in one respect control a bankroll.
online. I've had some crazy sht go down recently, like being called by 9 high and losing 3 times, and countless other bad beats in the same session.

you need to find the really bad players to make juicy profits and play in games where you can consistantly dominate the table, by either picking up easy pots or getting payed off.

(obviously) subject to strategy

It is very hard to consistently beat stakes that low. The rake is just too much to overcome in order to grow your bank roll. I started on .02/.05 tables and it took a while to move up to .05/.10 and then a while to move up to .10/.25. After that my bb/hr went down but my $/hr went up and I was able to move up pretty quickly.

As far as why you can't grow the bank roll, I can't say. Without a idea of how you play there is no way to tell. you could be calling too much or not enough, not double barreling enough, too aggressive or not aggressive enough, etc., etc.. Figuring these things out are what make winning players!

yeah that's true, the toughest thing is to begin, it's the worst part of it, but then the rake is not so significant, and the difference is noticed. For example, in pokerstars the more you play, the better vip status you have, and the better status you have, you've got more rakeback, and that can make a significant difference

This isn't meant to denigrate you, but frankly, if you've played a reasonable number of hands and haven't been able to win at the online entry levels, you may want to examine your assumptions about your relative skill / knowledge level. It looks like you think you're above average relative to the opponents you face. However, if you're breaking even over a meaningful sample size, the most likely explanation is that you're around average.

Youtube > GRIPSED > watch. After watching his vids for a month i started to break even. However its only good for strategy , you will have to plug your mental leaks by yourself. Or try reading POKER MINDSET.

Maybe invest in some poker books and you could even sign up for a training site, I believe grinderschool is really cheap and their main focus is the microstakes.
