Anyone have any advice on dealing with people who decide to start going all in on every hand.like what starting hands are best to play against them besides pocket aces if no one else is calling them

If they go all-in every hand literally, I'd say anything in the top 1/4th of starting hands would be enough for me, as long as I was last to act.

if hes going in all in just be patient and wait for a mediocre to good hand.. dont start calling with Q8 or something.. id rather give away a little more chips and wait for a premium hand to double through him...

Really, there needs to be more information given about the situation before a reasonable answer can be given.

In general though, I would say to stay patient. Shit luck doesn't last for forever, and eventually he will bust himself out.

Now, depending on the situation and game type, there may be a couple of other things for you to look forward to.

If it is a cash game, and he is bullying the table because everyone is to passive to call him on his obvious bluffs, then you can switch tables.

If it is a MTT, trust that he will get busted out. And even if it doesn't happen in the next 10 minutes, chances are you will likely be moved tables before you have to endure it for too long.

If it is a SnG, then you wait for a premium preflop hand and bust him out. Or someone will do it for you. Either way, be happy when it happens.

But for the love of god, don't change your style, and don't lower your starting hand requirements in order to play chicken with him. Let him hurt himself, not you. If you cannot control the betting in the hand and it is not a favorable situation, stay out of the hand. And if you know he will go all in, know that you are in control but let him make the decision for you.

Patience is always the key any pocket pair over 77 or bigger and maybe 2 godo connector face cards like KQ or AK and i would have to take a shot at it and hope that I got lucky

uggg...the most dangerous thinking in poker. HOPE I GET LUCKY. it's a game of skill, use your skill to out think villian. slow play a pre flop monster, and let him bet himself into your strength. hoping for luck is like throwing your money away. unless you are heads up and he's doing this every hand, then you still have the ability to use skill, so long as you remain patient. if you are heads up, you are only a slight underdog with any 2 cards, unless you happen to call a hand where he's holding a pocket pair. so if that were the situation, you would almost have to call with any holding.

I'll play most big suited aces and any PP tens or better. Why chance it with the morons? You never know when they will they will wake up with a premium hand.
