I am talking about anything A8s, A7s, A6s,
A5s going all the way down to A2s.
I played on a lot of poker software and the feedback is I should be playing these even though I have always had a negative EV on such a plays. Can someone show me a profitable way to these?

I like to have an idea where I sit in the hand over what I hit, low aces I find hard if your not hitting flush flops where do you stand in the hand ?? I sit with ace queen you play ace 2 and miss the flush flop. I bet my ace single pair and we miss the 2nd pair!!! How do you bet with me a better kicker ? Pray I fold to an overbet or all in ? Folding rubbish is a better plan unless your stacked.

thats the thing if you dont get 2 of the same suits that you are holding in your hand on the flop, you're screwed as far as the flush goes. it makes doubly worse if i had come with a raise pre-flop. And about the kicker, lets say I play A5s and another ace comes on the turn or the river, I'd have to be very careful playing my ace.

Re

I like playing them when I got the chiof to spare. I try not to bet on them much when low stacked.

ace with suited card

Yea, It just seems so rare that I get anything good out of the hands. Even if the flop comes 2 of the same suit, you are still in a position of having 2 bet the turn and the river praying for the same suit card.

it all depends on the situation, so it is difficult to recommend the best solution

For me it depends on the situation on board ; position, my stack etc. but in my opinion A8s,A7s etc. going down are trash and I'm folding it.

I agree with you Mazak. But you'd be surprised about how much "pokersnowie" values those cards.

The most profitable way to play these hands is to fold them way more often than you play them.

Suited aces are usually good flatting hands IP. You can also mix in some 3-bet and 4-bet (even better probably) bluffs with them as you're blocking an ace.

i been thinking alot about Ace suited recently. I think you might be better off with Ace-5s than you are with a 6,7,8 for example. At least ACEs with 2-5s. you have a chance at a straight and a flush. whatya think?

If I have big stack/many blinds I go for cheap flops for draws or two pairs and then I play aggressively , but if I miss I fold/abandon mission (dependingly on situation and opponent , if I cannot bluff, etc ) . If I have very low stack , suited aces are from those hands I would play all in to steal blinds in position mainly . In freerolls I play them more . But carefully I play them generally , I could easily find a lot of trouble if I overplay them .

These hands are very tricky to play, A10 or A5-A2 can be played for straights and/or flushes. A9-A6 you are only playing for flushes. You'll get lucky at times and hit two pair or maybe fill up with a boat. These hands should be thrown in the muck and till you're comfortable playing the standard premium hands. Don't fall into the trap that any ace will do. Because it won't.

Actually A6o has slightly more equity than A5s. Barely, but obviously the upside to A5s is if you get your flush you've basically got the nuts (if no pairs on board).

Incorrect. Heads-up A6o is slightly better than A5s, although a chop is quite likely. But if you compare the equity of A5s against all other hands it's way ahead of A6o.

You are correct.
