So I was messing around with pokerstove and I decided I wanted to see what would happen with Ace suited vs top 30% of hands. equity is 53.5% for Ax suited and 46.5% for the top 30% of hands. Now obviously this isn't you're average player, so I decided to tone it down to about top 20% of hands which is pretty much even money. My question is if you are playing a player who has a pfr of 25+, wouldn it always be profitable to call ace suited?

I'm only playing Axs in limit and with a lot of other players.

I think it all depends on how well you can play postflop. For example, if you hit an Ace and you have a crap kicker, what do you do if your opponent bets? Easy to calculate if you have a flush draw, but what if you only have a RRFD? I think more often than not it would put me in tough situations where I wouldn't know what to do, but for other people they might fare better than I

Your thinking is over-simplified. For one thing, you're only looking at the situation where you have one opponent and presumably are in position. But most of the time, you can't assume this will be so. When you're last to act and thus can close the auction by calling and be in a two-way pot, you're out of position.

Even considering just two-way scenarios, all opponents are not the same. You can play a lot more hands against poor players than vs those who are better than you.

Yeah playing Ace suited is a classic example of "It depends"

Table dynamics, stack to pot ratio etc, position...
