Silver Level
When I first started playing, I found that the quality of play at at the beginner levels was too low to practice in any useful way. I would watch real $ games and they would play a completely different style than the "donks" at the lowest levels. I also noticed that higher level play chips games seemed to be better quality. However, I found myself impatient with "donks" seeming to all in with absolutely anything, which made it difficult to get a bankroll of playchips to get out of the 250 chip level.
So I devised this way to attain a large amount of play chips quickly so I could practice against more realistic competition. (on Full Tilt)
Here are the Steps:
1-Reload your PlayChips
2-Join four 90 player 250 chip tourney
3-All in, on the first hand (many will follow)
4-If you win --> Minimize the Game. (you should have about 5-10k chips)
5-Wait a few minutes
6-repeat step 1-5
7-Keep doing this till you have the max games open with 5k-10k chips
8-Multi-table your games and only play the best hands, till your at the final tables on the remaining tables. (honestly, you can get there with about 7k from the start and then not playing at all after)
9-play the remaining final tables as best you can.
you should be able to get to at least 40k playchips in a couple of hours, which should allow play at at least 2k for a while.
fyi if mods find this innapropriate circumvention of the system, feel free to delete this post . I found this 'strategy' helpful though to get better experience with higher quality opponents.
