If a pair turns up on the flop, give serious consideration to folding your flush or straight draw. There's a good chance of someone having a full house or quads.

Just don't put much money in the bank. Play cautiously and be ready to fold on aggression.

without a specific scenario its hard to answer that question/ commant on that statement. However when there is a flopped pair it is less likely that you or your opponent have anything. If you don't feel comfortable calling down with a wider range and FD should be in that then try going for the check raise once in a while. However, folding a draw on a paired board TO A SINGLE BET is way to tight.

Be a little reluctant on a large bet, but remember the other player may be using thepair on the flop to his/her advantage for a bluff as well.

I'd sayit depends on your cards but also who you are facing? If you have worked out something of your opponents range I'm pretty sure you'd be able to tell from his opening bet preflop what he might have had... I am really no pro, but that's the way I see it. If its a standard 3BB or 5BB from the character and after post flop the guy starts 3/4 pot betting I'd say yeah, let's fold. If he goes all in he might be trying to push u out with a prayer. But then again, you might have had the winning hand out of the two of you. Too many variables to actually mention.

But, if the flop scares you then by all means fold. This is just my understanding of it right now. I don't have elkies sack to play everything so if I'm wrong, then so be it. I'll learn the hard way which is cool with me. If there arebsix hands playing with me on that flop, I will fold if I dontnlike my drawing chances at all.

But having said that, there might also be a chance no one has it....
