Play tight play aggressive and trap combine the 3 and you will win players who play a lot of hands are playing for the high not for the money....which would you rather be? if you limit the number of hands you play your chances of making a big bluff on the flop turn or river will increase very much because odds are everyone will notice you have only played 20-30% of your hands and are likely to have something. know your opponents range to make the most money....when you sit at a table you need to get a good idea of how everyone plays since your playing tight anyways you will have time to do so.Poker is not about how many hands you win its about how much you win. i could win 5 pots in a row but on the 6th pot i could be broke on the other hand if i lose 5 small pots but double up on the 6th pot ill be sitting good.....those lost hands will encourage players to bet you so by the time you get a solid winning hand they will be looking at you as a weak player.

This works great against a straddle as well if i get any good comments on this ill do one on how to destroy the straddler every time.

This is wrong IMO.

20%-30% is NOT tight
try more like 10%-15%

If you play tight and miss the flop trust me your "good" opponents know and are waiting for that bluff bet.

New level of thinking : What your grandad thinks about what your granny thinks about what your oponent has after when he leads the river in 3bet pot.

and I agree, 20 to 30 percent is way high to be classified as tight, im a fairly tight player and I find lately I only been playing every once or twice around the table
