Quite a heater of a session in this one. I didn't really prepare anything to say today, just played an hour-long session, but I think it'll be pretty entertaining for you guys. Ran at 25bb/100 which was nice.

A few little minirants in there too while I was struggling to keep up the commentary and play well too.

Thanks Chuck.

Question for you: Top left table you flop a set of 9s I think, flush draw on flop, and I think the flush completes on the turn but you get all your chips in, rivering a boat.

Do mind stepping through your thinking on that one? I can find more details on it later if need be, but I'm not at the computer than I downloaded on at the moment.

Yeah I remember that one specifically. I'm almost always getting my chips in here.

Opponent was 54/0/1.8 according to PT.

pokerstars Pot-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed)

UTG+1 ($69.15)
MP1 ($29.25)
MP2 ($52.35)
Hero ($55.70)
CO ($9.25)
Button ($74.25)
SB ($49.45)
BB ($62.50)
UTG ($29.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 9

.
4 folds, Hero raises to $1.75, 3 folds, BB calls $1.25.

Std pf raise with 9s here

Flop: ($3.75) 4

BB checks, Hero bets $2.75, BB raises to $5.5, Hero raises to $17, BB calls $11.50.

At this point (I think I say it in the vid?) I'm prepared to get my whole stack in on this flop. Villain is loose and is aggressive enough to have some weird two pairs, lower set, pair + flush draw, naked queen, naked FD, naked straight draw etc etc. I'm not quite sure what he's stacking with, but his check-raise could mean just about anything. After he calls the reraise I'm putting him on basically the above range. He was pretty terrible :p

I 3-bet for value, he makes a tricky smooth call with the second nuts. Not sure if he was slowplaying here or was actually scared of the nuts, but it threw me off for sure. Anyways at this point his hand looks a lot to me like either a draw of some kind, or a queen (most likely).

Now after his call my plan is to get it in on any non-club turn.

Turn: ($37.75) K

(2 players)
BB bets $3.5, Hero raises to $36.95, BB calls $33.45.

Weak turn lead here, but I can't get away from my hand. I suppose there could be a case for slowing down here since the straight has just filled, but I want to make him pay for his FD and get full value from KQ/Q9.

River: ($111.65) 4

(2 players)

TY Lee Jones.

Final Pot: $111.65

(villain shows K7c)

That's pretty much it about the hand. Against someone that bad, a flush is a tiny part of his range, and even when he has it we've got lots of outs to draw to.

Ah, it's finally sinking in how his looseness fits in. A tighter player doesn't call the raise with Q9o and then have to bet this flop.
