[broken link ~tb]

Not sure what sparked me wanting to open 6 tables instead of my usual 4 with 6max, but I did. Pretty scattered commentary too, I found it a little hard at times.

My hud stats are:

vpip/pfr/af/3bet/fold to 3bet/hands
ats/fold to flop bet/cbet/raise cbet/wtsd/fold BB to steal

good stuff man

especially liked the expert use of the ed miller value minraise. tbh i just call there way too often and it's probably a mistake on my part based on underestimating how bad the bad players actually are

What are you doing still playing 200NL?
Your play and your commentary makes it pretty obvious that you're completely overqualified for these stakes. Sure, you can continue owning the hell out of fish and regs alike (must be fun :D ), but you could easily hold your own at higher stakes, no doubt.

I loved your triple barrel with the value bet bluff on the river. I don't think I've ever tried that after the board pairs out of fear of getting looked up too much. But I remember your opponent being a reg, and when you made that bet I immediately liked it vs. him. Very impressive and definitely outside of the box.
I had never heard of the Ed Miller minraise before, what a neat way to get extra value out of fish. Very cool!

You mentioned concern about the video size. You can probably get away with about 8 frames per second, knocking the size in half right there. The action will get a bit harder to follow, but if you refer to the tables as 1, 2, 3 etc. it won't be a problem at all.
You could also increase the video compression. It's 1.1 MBit/sec which is pretty high for what is essentially static content. If you know how to change the compression setting, you could probably bring this down to about 0.5 MBit/sec or even lower without sacrificing too much quality.

EDIT: if you knock the framerate in half, then you can knock the bitrate (compression setting) in half as well without losing ANY quality. So I suggest you try 8 frames per second @ 0.3 MBit/sec and see how that looks.

Wow, i'm impressed. You're seriously good. Felt like I was watching a stoxpoker video, only you actually know the level you play and crush it for real.

Also i want to run as good as you do. How many times did you get KK over the 30 minutes of that video? :D

heh, yes, I do run crazy good. The poker gods are rewarding me for my lack of playing these past months by making the hands I do play really count :)

Thanks for that tip chris, I'll try to dumb down the framerate and see if that helps. It sounds like that's a perfect solution since it won't harm the resolution or clarity (right?).

I'll probably put out another one of these since it seems like there's interest. I'll make it 4 tables though so I can actually speak properly.

The clarity will stay the same, only your mouse cursor and the table animations are going to be more jerky.

It looks like your audio data rate is also excessively high at 176 KBit/sec. The 40MB of audio could easily be knocked down to about 7MB.
What do you use to record and compress the video? I could probably point you in the right direction concerning video and audio settings as those will decrease your file size a ton.

Okay, I just watched his tutorial. It looks like you don't have direct control over the bitrate. I'd probably just set the Quality to Low (instead of Medium) and see how that looks. I'm pretty sure it'll look just fine with this type of content.
You're gonna have to set the lower framerate (maybe 8fps) in Camtasia before you record. Changing it in that compression wizard dialog box will probably change the playback speed, so you should leave that alone.

I'd assume that these two adjustments will cut your file size by about 60%-70% without sacrificing too much quality. Maybe try it out on a quick 1-minute test clip just so you don't waste a ton of rendering time in case the results aren't up to par.

Really nice video Chuck, learn something every time I watch one of ur vids. Really nice commentary on double barreling and what type of players to isolate/steal against. You got me itching to play 6max again soooooooo bad. I'm thinking I'll prob make a video of myself playing 100NL 6max tomorrow.

Finally got around to watching it, Chuck. The tools that you use (mulit street barrelling, minreraise) and the confidence with which you're using them is great. Really inspiring stuff.

I lol when you are talking about folding your AQ which is correct then you do it and move on but later he flop comes somethingsick like AAQ or QQA i cant remember but it was funny I dont know why.

You can control the framerate in camtasia from memory ... I think 30 is standard so if you make it 15 and then compress the video to in-between the LOW and MEDIUM it should still look fine and you could probably get a 1.5 hour video for about 150 to 200mb ... which is pretty awesome.

I think ChuckTs should just make his own "How to Kill The Limits" series and start at 10nl and do a session at 10nl, 25nl, 50nl, 100nl, 200nl, and then for the finale do his first 400nl session.

What ya say bud??? :)

I tried opening it in a few different players, why? Which would work best for it?

...quicktime. .mov is a quicktime format, it shouldn't really work with other players.

It actually doesn't work for me with quicktime, but VLC works great for me.

I get the green screen too (not for this vid) but for alot of vids, its got to do with windows media player, which you shouldnt be trying to use for this video anyway....

but I get this green screen from not having the right codecs maybe, or video drivers, im not sure but its hella annoying and I have failed in multiple attempts in trying to fix the green screen effect....

quicktime turns green

...may help for QT. I don't think .mov files are supposed to open in anything else. Maybe vlc plays them now, who knows. It sounds like it's a codec problem though, or maybe your qt version isn't up to date?
