6 max cash games help???

Hi there guys
I just busted a 6 max mini ftsp tourney and just feel i did not play well
I normally play 9 max.I feel like i was unprepared for a 6 max game
and dont know how to play 6 max well.
I know u have to change ranges and that but what else do u have to do different
I want to start playing 6 max cash games and not tourneys for starters. Do
anyone have good articles on 6 max cash games and how do i start learning 6 max cash games?
I am looking for a opening range chart for 6 max from pos. as well
Any advice from u to help me learn this game would be very helpful

You can think of six max as being the same as a nine handed table where the first 3 to act have folded. It's really the same thing and if you play 9 handed games you've been in this situation lots of times. If you're used to adjusting your range as your position changes at a 9 handed table then you should have no problem adjusting to a 6 max table.

Are you using position to your advantage and only playing top of your range out of it? This to me seems to be one of the biggest issues players have online at 6 max games. You don't necessarily need to loosen your range all the time in 6 max, but in late position it's definitely a good idea to be a bit looser with your raises. I still play early position the same in 6 max though. I only make plays with big hands except for the occasional deceptive play.

I do play a wider range in later pos not only top of my range but
i think i found my leak i play the same post flop and go to showdown wider.

u bluff?I also find i bluff my money off in the micro stakes and play the guessing game
What is your guys or standard vpip/pfr/af/3bet % stats in 6 handed micro games

In 6max cash games nits play around 15/12 or less, TAGs between 24/21 and 15/12, and LAGs play over 24/21. A good 3bet stat is between 5% and 10% imo.

I would advise bluffing less in the micros. The players at the lowest levels are going to call you with much weaker hands and they will pay off even if you are playing very tight.
