Hi Everyone

I'm looking for some help in finding a training plan/resources for cash games - mostly live. I've been playing poker for quite a while now, but have only watched a few training videos and read some basic theory (pot odds, counting outs, equity).

Anyway, I've spent the last 5 or so years playing a ton of poker online in the micros and play money games. I've also played a lot of live poker at the local pub poker scene. Around 2 months ago I decided to start getting serious about actually making money playing poker and really started putting an effort in to playing solidly. I took $150 in to the local casino and walked out with around $200 profit which I've used to start a live bankroll. I'm now sitting at $2500 profit 2 months later, and I know that I could easily have double that by now, but I have leaks in my game that are costing me money.

The local games at the casino are quite easy to beat. There's a small number of sharks that go in and chew up the table, regularly pulling off $1k+ from the $1/2 table. There's also a lot of regulars who buy in half stacked, lose it and reload a couple times a night and these are the players I wan't to win money from.

My knowledge of poker theory is much better than the average player at the (live) table, but still quite limited (especially compared to most online grinders) and I need to learn a lot more of the theory, especially the math behind the game, and player hand ranges. I have no idea what player ratios mean (22/12 etc). Generally I pay attention to how often a player bets/raises, what they went to showdown with and what position they were in when they raised x hand. I also look for betting patterns and what they could mean. I try to build an image in my mind of what type of cards they could be playing with, but I need to do some in depth learning on player ranges.

Most of the players I'm up against or trying to play a pot with have a much looser range than me, meaning I often hold cards that dominate them. A lot also have poor bet sizing, often giving me really good odds to draw or they chase too often for a bad price & I want to capitalize on all of this as much as i can.

At the moment I'm reading a book called 'Easy Game' by Andrew Seidman and watching the videos on 'The Poker Bank' YouTube channel, and I'm looking for more resources that will help me learn the theory/improve my game.

Where would you guys recommend I start with when it comes to learning poker mathematics and hand ranging, also any other poker theory? Ideally recommended books to read and online videos/training courses.

Also, what areas of knowledge/study have you found the most beneficial to your game? Was it sitting down and running through equity comparisons, reading a certain book or some other learning style? I haven't done any real poker study before so I'm not sure exactly what I need to do.
