The point is that instead of getting bored or impatient, playing more tables makes it easier to fold the marginal stuff because you constantly have another table/hand going on. Perhaps 4 is too many tables? Try 2.

I agree that you might want to drop down the number of tables. 4 tables is more work than 2. Although you are playing a game, your mind may be getting fatigued without you realizing it. I would drop at least a table and see if this helps.

I think it important to select your tables wisely. Check which opponents are also multi tabling. You should be able to categorize them. So give a 3 table multi player a different note color to a 4 etc etc. A multi tabling opponent is probably going to play a narrower range of hands, and be tighter (because they are playing 3 to 8 tables). When they bet or raise, be careful, because they are doing this with strong hands.

As you become a regular, you will be able to identify the other regulars. Stay away from them if you can, and look for softer opponents.

If you suffer from emotion, be careful multi tabling. If you get a bad beat on one table, how will it affect you on the other 3 ?

So if you can, spend an hour and figure out which players are multi tabling grinders, and were the soft money is . Don't grab the bull by the horns. Rather figure out were the low hanging fruit is.

First thing i do when i multi-table is to setup my HUd, making sure the color of the stats i need to look at easy to see. that way even if i switch my concentration from table to table, i wont be confused and lost. another thing is make a strategy for yourself on which hand you are going to play and fold. with so many table up, you wont be able to put all your attention on one table. I use DriveHUD because the pop-up heat map help me range my opponents faster.

Imho, just by change the stat color helps, its one of the simple things that can improve your game.
