3 card poker

I have never tried 3card poker live at my local casino but every time I go there to play holdem I see the 3 card tables always full.Is it easier to win at 3 card poker or harder?A friend of mine said he has made some good cash at 3 card.I would like to try it some time just to play something different for fun.
