I was in cutoff.
Got A3 unsuited.
3 people limp in.
I folded.

IN GENERAL, should I have limped, raised, or folded?

Depends on table dynamics and who the limpers are. If nobody is folding and the pot is gonna be 4-way, folding is fine. If you can raise and get heads up with one of the limpers, raise. There is no clear cut rule for playing certain cards in different positions. It depends on all table-specific factors.

I will fold without thinking for a second. You can hardly hit sth. strong and easily be dominated by the others' hands.

Just think of it, what favorable cards on the flop you want if you limp?

Ax is decent in heads up, but is bad in multi-way.
Ok, so really it's fold or raise.
Is that the basic idea?
