How do you play 20-30 big blinds. It is quite hard because I don't know if I should open up like having 50-60BB, or wait for premium hands and go all in? What do you do in situation like this ?
I would open the same with 20-30 blinds as I would with 50-100 blinds. You get to wait an extra round before the same amount is taken out. So make this would help you to make sure that the blinds are winners.
completely depends on situation in tourney, in most cases final 2 tables 30 bbs is going to be a top 6 stack. pay more attention to your position at the table and dont focus on a # that means nothing overall.
When I get around 30bb, I always get nervous and confused somehow. I try to open up I miss some flops go to 20-25bb. Then I get some mid pair or K10, J10, A6, A7 and i just go all in. I really need to work on that.
wait for premium hands and deal with shortstack like you, if you go to a play with the cheepleader of the table he will pay you easily without problem and generally a cheepleader will win all
Depends on what level the tourney is in and blind speed. In a reg speed 30bb can still be a hefty stack, in a turbo where you’re about to go to 15bb next level not so much. Usually 30 is played like a 50bb stack
