I have no truoble multi tabling as i can play 15+ tables very comfortably but thats FR.
as we all know you have to focus on 6 max a little more then you would at FR, so its only natural to drop tables.

As a suggestion, though, try 2-4 tabling for a while and really focus on your game. Depending on stakes/time invested/etc., this may be enough to build your br, and will likely help you develop good habits in 6max that'll benefit you as you decide to add tables.
fwiw, I 9table fr and 6table 6max for NLHE - I start playing very sloppy if I increase beyond that (but I have a limited attention span, so... ), and when I'm focused on improving my game rather than grinding (which is most of the time these days), I drop to 4tables of 6max.
