In obvious strt and flush situations, even then reluctantly!! It seems like I'm always chasing the boat or just stuck on the fact that I'm ahead when it comes to flopping two pair or even catching it on the turn. Does anybody else have this problem....or have they had it and overcome it??? If I had a nickle for every time I busted out because of two pair....I'd have a shit load of nickles!!!

Learn about pot control. Just because you have 2 pair, doesnt mean you have to fold in certain situations. But on a 4 flush or a 4,5,6,7 board you should trust experience and learn to fold. It isn't just those hands either. The most important thing to learn is that each board and all betting patterns tell a story. Work out what that story tells you and see if it tallies with whats on the board.

Example. A tight player limping from mid position can usually mean a small pocket pair and that they are set mining. So, if that happens and a flop comes 4,7, 8 they could easily have a set. On a JJ10 board, their limp has almost no J or 10's in their range.

hope you get the idea :)

I know exactly what you mean. If I flop two pair it feels like it rarely wins. The reason behind this is often because most players will play cards that are close together, so if the flop is QT5, and you have two pair, it's not unlikely for an opponent to be holding KJ or AJ, meaning they have a quite good chance of a straight

It all comes down to identifying / reading hands which is something I'm good at live and with opponents I've played with....but online this is incredibly challenging for me.... I guess I need to read up on some online tactics for identifying things....

Make some notes (Post-It notes work well for this) to yourself & attach to the monitor to remind yourself NOT to make the same mistakes again & again. I did that when I was learning how to play poker &, sometimes, I need to still do that! It's daily reminding ourselves of what we constantly do repeatedly that will break any habit that one may have. GL with the journey in poker.:)

I used to have issues folding two pair. Learned to really pay attention to the board and betting patterns and it has helped with my decisions to stay and play or fold.
