Hello guys , I decided to deposit 100$ after a lot of unsuccessful 10-20$ deposited. Im tired of getting sad looking at my 20$ becoming 15$ after getting into 2 tournaments so I decided to get 100$ and play 2% (2$) tournaments each time .

Any strategy for 100$ bankroll? I want to get about 300$ bankroll. No hypers or even turbos , I prefer regulars :) thanks!

If you have a $100 bankroll and you don't want to ever redeposit, $2 tournaments are not what you should be playing. The typical recommendation for tournaments is to have 100 buy-ins, so that implies you should be playing $1 buy-ins.

Hi sagivifergan and welcome to Carschat. I understand what was said above, but at times a $2 MTT maybe starting when you want to play and you can't find a $1 one. But I believe you will do alright either way if you just take your time and not try to play to many at the same time. Play smart with your BR. Every time you start to play, ask yourself if you can afford the buyin. GL to you

I collected $ 100 a month and I only played tournaments for $ 0.11. That's my strategy!
Tournament $ 2 to bankroll of $ 100, seem too big.

You have to develop their own strategies.

I would agree you should be playing smaller games. You seem to be bleeding at the games you are playing now. Bigger bankroll will just mean you get to wait longer til your next deposit. I suggest playing nothing larger than a dollar and work more on finding leaks in your game.

Is it really recommended to have 100 buyins for MTT play? I thought it was around 40 buyins?

I'm thinking of depositing $100 in the next few weeks, and I want that to be the last deposit I make on ACR because I always blow my deposit by depositing like $20 and then playing $1-2 tournaments.

Thanks for all the comments guys , I understand that 100 buy-ins is necesery but playing 1$ tournaments feels so bad for me, Everyone in there feel so fishy and donky and it feels like im not even playing poker but a kind of holdem bingo.

I think I will try 2$ tournaments and pay attention to my game and develop a stratergy to them. Thanks for the comments guys! Ill let you know how my bankroll ended:)

My deposited were always small and the tournaments I played were HUGE - Yesterday I got 20$ and I played 8.80 tournaments + 2x 5.40.
I really have to learn how to control my self in order to build a bankroll.

They best way to build a good bankroll is to play for limits that matter to you the micro stakes are a waste of time especially if you have a job why play for penny's all day and come out ahead on a heater to only be able to buy a pack of smokes lol if you have a job that makes at least 8 an hour your better off saving 1k and playing 25/50 or 50/1 that way you don't waste your life inside all dAy staring at a screen

Why dont you try cash games ? There is less varience there, lots of fish to exploit and develop your game and in my opinion much more profitable.

Be patience is more important than buy-in fee.
May you good luck in playing poker, and keep it funny.

I'm not sure I follow this. The OP doesn't want to play $1 tourneys because they are too donkish/fishy but $2 is much better. Does this seem rational? I see donkish/fishy at $100 tournaments.

Why would you not want to play with "donk/fishes"?

If you already have a good knowledge in poker ... already dug some SNG ... I advise you to play SNG. 0.50. because your bankroll ...
in 1 or 2 months u can be $ 300 ... and keep studying!

Apparently $ 1-2 is too small bet for the author

For $100, have to follow still strict BRM.

You must have a system that suits your cash/cashback.

Typical formula would be 100 x bb.

The least amount is 75x buy-in and and even that is consider as aggresive approach.Normal amount of BI is 150x.I recommend you to play the 45 man sngs.
