My favorite hand is 10-J suited. I like it because it seems to almost always link up on the flop, or at least leave my with a flush draw or a straight draw.

Seems to is a feeling that can cost one a lot of money. Favorite hand other than AA, is something to be left to serious, experienced players.
Makes as much sense as my favorite hand is 83o because my first dog had 8 black spots on one side & 3 white spots on his other.

78s, 89s, 910s (my favourite hand), 10Js. Theese hands are very good because there are many opportunities to win with them. Flush, straight....etc.

I don't agree with 10J suited, it can cause lot of problems, even if you hit J.. higher kicker is in advance. Also, suited can't sometimes pull you into hands, which you usualy should fold, so with 2 spades on board and no pair situation, you would call raise, waiting for flush to come? even that you are not safe that much with J high flush. but i understand what u are saying, i love to play 9/10s

its a great hand when it hits the flop, but can be costly when it doesn't if you cant fold it

i realize why some people like it, but i feel it's not different from 910s or QJs. i may be wrong, but i would never play it from early position.

One of those hands, that when it hits, it can pay well.

Remember you want to play this with a deep stack against another deep stack for value and potentially winning big when it hits as most of the time it will go in the muck.

Experienced players are a lot more likely to have AA as their favorite hand because they like making money [emoji6][emoji23]

hello friends, we all have favorite hands, for example I like 10 3 of clubs, but in poker there are ranks to respect, as well as to join the game of our rivals that can go from rocks to loose players..

IMO a 10 with J kicker or indeed a J with 10 kicker just doesn't hold up often enough, i have learnt this through the trouble it has gotten me into, position dependant of course

not always winning words but yes, 'it depends'

For me, now there is no favorite hand. I used to win with it more than once.

This hand looks tempting, but it can lead you into a problem situation, like many similar hands.

These are only those hands that are most often perceived as very strong.

It must be borne in mind that it is easy to dominate over them, and often they are far behind at the beginning of the distribution.

Therefore, remember that you only need to play a big pot with a confident strong hand.

Because an opponent will rarely pay you with a weak hand, and to win you must be far ahead.

One of my favorite hands, I admire that it is not such a strong card but gives a lot of possibilities ...

My favorite hand is 10-J suited. I like it because it seems to almost always link up on the flop, or at least leave my with a flush draw or a straight draw.

Usually favorite hand become likeable until a bad beat happens then it becomes not a favourite anymore.

Now I'll be mean with what you are constantly doing a raise)))

I personally believe that an experienced player shouldn't have a favourite hand at all.

Doyle Brunson in his book "Super System" admits his favorite starting hand in Texas Hold-em is 78. I don't recall if he prefers them suited or not. Many professionals will admit they have favorite starters, or ones they like to see: 78, 89, JT, etc. Most players at some point will develop a favorite starting hand.

I think what is important is not if you have a favorite hand. It is if you just play that hand blindly when it comes up, or if you still keep thinking and strategizing against the other players at the table. Don't bet over your comfort level or stack size, and be ready to fold if need be.

JT is a bad hand, but far better than most people realize. It has approx 40% chances against far better hands like AQ, for example. It is a good bet to go all in when you are desperate in a tourney

I like to play the J 10 as well but from late position. Its a fun hand that plays well with a lot of boards but can also easily get you into trouble. Its won me some huge pots, but has also left me drawing dead.

It is a great hand if you play it in late position and sometimes can become better than having AA,s.
