Are you a UK player or Non-American having issues depositing on ACR?

Okay, I do not understand this at all. I contacted their support as the visa option is now gone and ACR have said card options are not available for me.

I queried this and was told " Yo
[FONT=&#10]"Due to privacy policies we can't disclose the details of the triggered flag."

Obviously it is not a problem/issue with me depositing on the site as they are happy for me to do this via other means and cannot disclose why they have blocked my cards which means I am forced to now use Crypto currencies. I do not understand what the privacy issues are when they are my cards,

I queried this and was told " Your account triggered a security alert, I cannot disclose what that was. But I'll be more than happy to explain your deposit options"

Basically now the only way I can deposit is through crypto currencies despite my cards working on many other sites. I now have no way to resolve this apart from using other deposit methods and no idea why they blocked my cards.

Well a lot of you guys and gals are using crypto currencies and seems to be the way forward but need to look at the methods for doing this as never used them before. Would be nice to know the reason for the block though.

I have a concern now, what if I have a problem using another payment method like crypto currency and I run into an issue? If the site cannot discuss payment issues how do you resolve a problem?

I assume it's just me that's had my visa option blocked on this site for some bizarre reason but cyptos allowed?

They removed my Visa & mastercard option at start of year.
These are the options available to me. It may be different for you
2019 04 17 175755

If you are in US you will have to use Cryptocurrency.

If you are outside of US you can use neteller or EcoPayz. If you are in EU you can link your card to either of these ewallets accounts. If you are not in that region you will have to link a bank account to make withdrawal but can deposit to the ewallets via cards.

If you are interested I can give you a breakdown on how to use ewallets - Netteler or ecoPayz.

The preferred method I use is ecoPayz because the min withdraw is $10, Netteler is $25 Crypto is $50.

Many thanks for coming back to me Joeisi! It is somewhat more palatable to know they have stopped others Visa transactions. They were there when I signed up but card was blocked, then I tried a few times and they removed them. I do not even get the Neteller though or the eco one but not sure if there are any more fees associated with them? It is not clear site to site which fees you pay.

Cannot seem to copy the image in but the 4 options I have are:- bitcoin, crypto transfer, Ria & Money transfer.

I wanted to try this as a new site but very concerned about the response. I just do not get that "we cannot discuss this with you for privacy reasons?" So am being denied the ewallet methods you have but they are happy if I exchange my currency for crypto currency first?

You are not the only one... I read about this everywhere I go.. Looks like ACR just gave up on cards and uses e-wallets only.. But crypto only is a bit hard as restriction.

E-wallets are all-in-one solution for poker sites and cut a lots of fees.. the best thing is that they don't have to manage exchange rate. They use only 1 currency and your e-wallet do the rest.

a/p a new site I'm playing on, using only e-wallets and I was able to discuss about this (I had the same problem) it's expensive to manage all that these days.. transactions, fees, servers, currencies, security, maintenance.. when you have a all-in-one solution like this, it's hard to say no!

Another thing is that in some countries (like here) if you have any online gambling transaction on your record, don't think about a mortage or growing up your credit card limit easily.. Using e-wallets doesn't show all the time where the money is going or is from, depending on where it's taken in your e-wallet.

iMO, it's a move that all sites will do in the next years..

If you go for an ewallet, is it better to designate it in the currency you are playing or your own currency or do you trade it into the currency you want at the time? My currencies is pounds but play normally in dollars, rarely euros. Would be good to minimise 888Pokers charges as I hear the are very high transferring back.

Yes, I think this is the shame with ACR I might go back to them again. They were saying to use crypto like its an easy logical choice but I have never used it. I would need to research crypto wallets, and if you want a hardware one you have to pay for them, then knowing the sites to do the exchange and I have no idea about currency fluctuations with them if you do not immediately cash them out. But when you have never used it it is a bit daunting and not something I want to rush into.

Not sure if it's just the two ewallets ACR support or not, I cannot see these options now but I though MuchBetter was being plugged as good ewallet but do not remember seeing it on their site.

It’s very frustrating, but ACR have not allowed credit cards as a way to deposit for over 12 months now in UK. (Even though they have shown it as an option). However, having said this, they are not very adept at dealing with questions about why ? It would be much better for them as an organisation to be taken seriously to clearly tell its customers, YOU CANT USE CREDIT CARDS. Please use an e-wallet or preferably crypto currency.

If you like playing there....bite the bullet and get yourself an e-wallet. It’s not perfect, but it’s easy really.

The "logical choice" part is right.. it's anonymous and accessible to all: you open an e-wallet, you load it, you buy currency then use it when you do transaction.. but the "easy" part isn't yet for a lot of people and it's more about knowledge of the product then anything else. The only fact that it's a virtual currency makes a lot of people affraid.. but less and less are everyday and crypto services become more reliable.

10 years ago, it wasn't so easy to use e-wallets.. you were limited at many points and and wasn't safe at it is today.. now, I can pay my grocery with an e-wallet and security improved a lot! Crypto trading isnt there yet, but will be one day, soon! The only step left is to make people using it.. all other safety and reliability issues have been taken care of.

In your e-wallet, it's always good to set it up with your local currency.. however, you'll have many wallets, depending the currencies you trade. Ex: you're currency is pound.. you buy US and BitCoins, well you'll have 3 wallets. Now for how it works on each site, you'll have to check with their conditions. I've read here this week that on PS, US money primes so example if you withdraw euros, it converts them in US, then again in euros.. Believe it or not, it's not giving the same amount at the end.. the new site I was talking about is using euros as prime money so I usually buy euros where I can have more.. I didn't have the chance to withdraw yet, but they let me know it was recommended to do it in euros.

EcoPayz is the most common used by poker sites.. That's one of the two e-wallets I use for poker. But I don't deal with crypto on poker site (yet, I'll have to do it one day or another) so I can't say if it's good or not. BitCoins is the first one ever.. should be the most reliable of all. I didn't use my account there for moons!!

Wow, yes why not say, because otherwise it just seems like bad customer service and no reason why or assistance. If they have blanket stopped payment option you are not going to argue but if they say we have removed your debit option but cannot tell you why you want to know what the issue is.

As for me unfortunately biting the bullet and using an e-wallet is not an option for me as the normal e-wallet options have been removed as well, I only have the option of crypto currency.

Buy a small amount of crypto and deposit it at ACR....... make sure you get a deposit bonus. Get yourself a crypto wallet and job done! That’s what I did. Good luck

Do you mind me asking if you use a PC or phone based App? I heard Jaxx for Android is one of the recommended ones.

I use a pc based one. Check out the reviews for the android Apps, there are others that get higher rating than jaxx (not my view but the view of reviewers!)

If it helps, when I started, I had a deposit bonus of $25. So I bought £20 of crypto from a reputable company (read the reviews and chose one that you fancy and which make sure it easiest for you). And transferred that to my ewallet. I then deposited the $25 worth of crypto to ACR. The few quid I had left over I left in the wallet and at the time as the value of crypto shot up, so did my few quid!

It was a win win situation. I had more money than I started with and got some nice bonuses from my deposit, which I also managed to turn into real money from wins.

If you are concerned about the fluctuation of crypto, then just buy close to the amount you intend to deposit and you don’t end up losing anything if it drops. Just keep an eye on the transaction charges to make sure you have enough for your deposit bonus.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. Just downloaded blockchain for my phone but think the security may be better on PC based apps possibly but hopefully it will be enough to get me going. Once done it a couple of times sure it will not be a worry.

Thanks again :)
