Hello All,

My name is David and am I'm in need of some advice on cashing out. What is the best way to do this when you are taking out the maximum? I have done a wire transfer in the past and was charged $33 and was wondering if there was was a cheaper way. I know checks are free but was curious if you could hook your bank account to poker account somehow. Thanks for any help!

If you've made a deposit using Instant e-Checks, you may be able to withdraw directly to your bank account using that method. I know that it works for poker stars, but have never tried with Full Tilt. I would suggest contacting support and asking them what your options are, as it varies person to person, depending on what deposit methods you have used in the past.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a US player and I think I'm going to go with a check but am curious to know if two $4000 checks would be flagged and if its better to trickle the money out:confused:, or does it matter. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, I'm sure the big stakes players have figured a normal system for taking out that much regularly.

I'm going to move this to our Deposit/Withdrawals sections where you will probably get more replies.

I do not believe they allow instant echeck withdrawls in the US. I had to do a check when I cashed out

Yeah, the echeck option is no longer available to me going on a few months now. It popped up briefly late autumn but I haven't seen it since. I've just been getting the regular checks since. They are pretty quick with the turnover time. I usually cash some out a couple times per month and haven't had a delay. I know in the past that was not the case.

Are there any charges on the echecks or regular checks? How is this handled since I thought the US was not able to play for cash or has that changed?

No charges for either. In fact, if you get a paper check, you will almost certainly get it for some nominal amount more than you requested. Don't get excited, since it will just be 50 cents or whatever. But still...
