Who here plays on Carbon

I am having difficulties putting money on there and would like to know how you deposited, and also your impressions on the room itself because I have yet to play there.

Had the same problem there myself 4 months ago and of course haven't played there since, try bodog or stick with Bingostars.

I play there but I haven't deposited.
Got $55 on there from cc freerolls and micro.
The software is ok , not as good as fulltilt ,
but then, none of them are.
Quite a decent game selection.
The smilies can be fun when i'm boozing and
donking away in the fun steps.
I'm only playing there while I'm waiting for FT to re-open,
so I could be there for sometime...... lol.

carbon is currently not accepting new us players for the past several months in real money games.

I deposited there just used my Debit card from my bank. I would reccommend it to any US Player if youre playing at pokerstars obviously this isnt the case however Playing at carbon is better than before black friday due to increase in traffic. But by all means deposit there and get youre deposit bonus and enjoy the games here at the forum. the best way is just to deposit and give it a go and see if it is something that works for you If so cool if not...find what works for you.

At the moment they are wednesdays alterating either 3pm or 9pm.

There's a weekly CC money added buy-in on sundays too, check the calendar.

Not true, carbon accepts US players again since last week.

-There might be some US states where it still doesn't work though, idk.

I play there but never deposit, i just play cc freeroll to get my bankroll starting. and the site not bad i can say, i like the site lol

Debit card is the easiest way to deposit. I have done it a few times, but the last time was maybe 5 months ago.

i use netspend prepaid debitcard, always worked for me. carbons alright but i play on several merge skins.

While CArbon is a memory hog on my netbook, I do love the showdown meters, the cartoon chat, and (dont laugh) they put your hand on top of the cards which is really helpful in PLO. I like their MTT's and used to like 6 man x2's

BUT...... Its taking way too long to get a check sent from them.

Also for original post, try some other Merge skins as the games and all are the same except for a few here and there. Poker host I was able to deposit on but they use something called ttopay which WHAT IS THAT is it legit paypal type thing or a problem waiting to happen

Months ago Carbon was taking their time sending me my cash , I would call customer service they would say it was approved but the cashier page said it was "Pending Approval". After a couple of weeks I called customer service one more time and wrote down the name of the person on the phone and went to the Twitter web site and twitted to CP asking were was my money and that their csr which I named had told me it was approved. Well one day later the check was at my door via FedeX and their web site said "Approved". End of story.

People having trouble depositing should trade funds with people looking to cash out. There's a lot of trading going on at 2+2 and P5s. You can do instant bank transfers or trade Netspend/Greendot and make 10-20% vig on each deposit. (i.e. trade $100 bank transfer or gift card for $115 Carbon funds)

I use a card called readycard through green dot, I have never had a problem using that card at all online.

Ready card? to deposit? or to withraw ( i like the idea of hey I give you real money for a little extra for online money. ) Does that go the other way around too? I would def give some extra Carbon $ for some real cold hard cash since being US its very difficult to withdraw without waiting years months whatever comes 1st

They just re-opened the merge network to new US players mid October (within the last 10 days).

I deposited WU, cost $10-15 to use.

Just got a cash out check a few weeks ago. Took about a week to get, but from what I have been reading there are people waiting over 5 weeks some times. I live in the US.

After having played on Bodog since BF, then switching over to play some on Carbon last few weeks, I can only say that Carbon (Merge) has 10 times the fish and poor play that even Bodog possesses, and that is saying a lot. My experience is that these Super Fish reside at every playing level in MTTs at least. The ring games are not as fishy in comparison for some reason and are more akin to Bodog play.

Its nice to see the customer doesnt have to jump through any hoops to get their money, hmm a nice easy no problem withdrawl (what a concept). Thanks for the help, that is just crazy having to do all that not to mention time consuming. Right now I just built up a min deposit to a min withdrawl to see what Im dealing with here and I see now.

What I dont get is suddenly these sites can all take credit cards, I read someone on the cake nov ipad thread said their bank card went right through, That didnt even happen a year ago or more ago when I had to open an EWALLET express (only to get ripped off by them too) to get money on cake. Oh well my little over a year of online poker playing has been interesting since every cent I made has been seized excpet for one check from Bodog and I think I might just play only on Bodog since they at least give one free check a month that actually gets sent (ITS THAT STILL TRUE this was b4 BF). What exactly is the fee merge charging for. Most times its to cover expenses to ensure good service but not in online poker land, Its just another money grab. BUt guess how it goes when we give offshore sites complete control of our money and they go and do smart things like launder it and then flaunt it right in front of the govt and then just disappear.

People are now saying their is no evidence that ewallet express was ever even seized

Just seems more and more poker sites and any site that has anything to do with them is a scam, I know lots of people here think it's all great but you people were saying this up until the last day Full Tilt was running and then the next morning BAM! money all gone.

There is more then one way to screw the public, playing online poker is like placing a bet with your bookie the money may or may not be there for you if you win.

I used to hate the merge network, than april 15th came, and it was one of the first i went too. after getting used to the layout and what not, i actually kinda like it, I would still like FT, but carbon is not so bad

I never deposited on Carbon, put I play there I was lucky to have a friend transfer me funds and Ive been building it up playing Freerolls and low Sngs. Im worried about Cashing out becuase idk how long it will be if I requested a check.
Also for US members you guys should try out Lock Poker, and deposit through there casino, they allow visa, mastercard, amex. and they had a giftcard deposit were you use your visa to buy a giftcard and it worked. idk if they still have it. but after you deposit through the casino you just transfer the fund to your poker account and there ya go!
