I just had a nice run on Rush Poker. I tried to withdraw on FTP and they want an ID verify and proof of address verify for a paper check. This is my only option available.

Why is this? Why is there no bank wire withdrawal?

I have made maybe 13 small $10 deposits on FTP before this happened. Could this be the cause??? Seems shady to me.

Sending ID is pretty standard when cashing out.

Standard. They ask just about everyone who cashes out to send ID.

Thats kind of funny. They dont care who you are when you deposit but when its time to make a withdrawal the red tape comes out. Makes sense.

I don't think they really care. They pull the "red tape" by saying they want to protect the player but I think they are just being a smart casino and want to delay as much as possible from your money leaving their accounts.

I just sent in verification. Anyone know how long it takes?

Not long... 48 to 72 hours ... plus withdrawal time... What withdrawal option you use?

Well unfortunately this will be my first ever withdrawal. The only option I have on FTP is check.

It kind of does, not many people make deposits to an account if it is someone else's.
Unless if your makes sense was serious, ignore my response, lol.

It actually is to protect the player. I am glad they do it.

Oh wow... Just got an email from FTP...

ID verified but proof of address needs to be the complete page (all four corners showing).

Let's stall some more... I bet some account manager is just hoping I end up in a $1/$2 NL game.

Yeah, that's probably it.

Have you no self control? Just send them what they want, wait for verification, withdrawal. After the 1st time, you'll never have to do it again.

Trust me no acccount manager gives a rat's ass what u play. They are merely doing their job to actually protect your money.

Account has been approved for check withdrawal. My check request is now processing. How long does this take? 48 hours or 48 "business hours"?

They did the same thing to me as with everyone else, just fax them the id they requested and they'll cut you a check, no big deal.

Still no email from FTP saying my cash out had been approved. I hope once they cut the check it doesn't take 15 days.

7 days the last time I got a paper check. I'd expect it by the end of next week if I were you.

No check today. This is really errking me. I deposited, cashed out and received my money from Stars all last week. I wonder why FTP thinks I'm okay for echecks but not for echeck withdrawals. The only thing I can think of is that they know something about their processors/my bank I don't know.

A friend of mine tried depositing on Stars for the first time the other night with his checking account using echecks and was automatically declined. Stars listed a bunch of reasons it could of been and then said try Western Union...lol

The check was only approved 6 days ago and 2 of those days were non-business days. It's pretty ridiculous to be irked before waiting the full time they tell you to allow.

Is this money needed to pay the rent?

The first time you get a check it takes the longest, besides being delayed because Full Tilt needs to approve you, the check processing company also has to set you up for the first time. I think my first Full Tilt check took about 2 weeks, after that usually less than 5 business days. My first check from pokerstars came from the same check processor as Full Tilt and took less than 5 business days.

* And you never know, my friend cashed out his FT account and banned himself from playing for 180 days, he didn't receive his check until the last day they said to wait for.

No, but it is bankroll money I would like to put onto Stars.

You only need to verify your info once. I would rather deal with a site that ask you for all this info then one who didn't. I mean I worked hard sucking out on people to get my money and I'll be damned if someone else shall get it!

Its kinda odd that when i went to make my first ever withdrawal from FTP they asked for my ID and proof of address, yet when my roommate went to make his first ever withdrawal from FTP about a week and a half later...they didn't even ask him. odd
