Good afternoon! I once withdrew $ 70 because the poker room was closing. Otherwise, I would not withdraw such a small amount. I just used them to buy food. My dream is to win a large sum and withdraw it to buy something worthwhile. Good luck!

Almost all my money withdrawals are for necessities. Sometimes I reward myself for good performance, but otherwise it's all necessities. The logic here is simple - it is far better to raise the stakes if your bankroll allows and earn more than just take the money and spend it. Think long term!

My first poker withdrawal went straight into the bank :) Not as exciting as most might desire, but money is money and bankroll management is important. At that point in time, I didn't have the spare money to spend on spur-of-the-moment splurging. Perhaps this just reinforces that I believe I have decent bankroll management skills ;)

p.s. I am not the kind of person to just store away money into the bank indefinitely like a squirrel collecting nuts for the winter, but I am not going to blow off my winnings unwisely like the prodigal sun either.

I have never withdrawn money...I have the bad habit of playing down my bankroll to zero. There were times when I was up about $150, but my wife was not happy that I was playing so many hours, so I would tell her that at the end of the day, I am either withdrawing $1000 or I will have zero...I ALWAYS ended up with zero. Did that 3 times, then I usually take a month off poker totally to spend quality time with my wife.

Opened an IRA account. From that, I've always put at least 25% in it when withdrawing from poker winnings.

I think I spent it on a sports bet in a casino, it was years ago, a very small prize in pokerstars and I asked for it in a check that took about a week to reach me, very little money like 100 dollars, it was new in this regard withdrawals, maturity in many things:jd4::jd4::jd4::jd4:

I didn’t withdraw the money I won, I lost it because I started playing at limits that didn’t correspond to my bankroll.:sheep:
