This is from Deposit with Green dot
for a greendot prepaid debit card the only way I have found to get it to work,is to when activating have them send you a permenent card in the mail, which takes five to ten days, then all the money is on that instead of the temp card you bought. then you have to call the card company and have them approve it for international orders, dont say anything about online gaming or gambling or they will lock your card.
tell them ebay or something, that you order tons of stuff from hong kong or somewhere.
once approved seems to work fine.
I just avoid all the hassle and deposit with western union or money gram now.
the fee is alot better than the hassle.
It's not 100% to work, read the thread for more info! The only other way is WU.

Hey man no pre paid visa cards work anymore im being told. Your best bet would be to use the Western Union feature. But it is a $100 minimum. But those work smoothly.

You could try Netspend prepaid Visa. That worked on Bovada when I made a deposit a couple of months ago.

Netspend is actually asking people to send copies of their Drivers License and Social Security card to them overseas? This sounds pretty shady to me and the NetSpend card is no longer working on Bovada.

Stay away from NetSpend at this point. They will not refund my money etc. and they charge a monthly fee?

I used a prepaid rebate visa card from verizon wireless about 2 months ago for Carbon. Worked like a charm, no hassle.

But that would require you to buy a phone and wait for the rebate card in return... good luck OP.

My netspend card would not work, and TBH I thought no Visa cards would work on Carbon for United States players.. But maybe I was wrong. Western Union is an option if Visa will not work for you.

My netspend cards works fine on Bovada and ACR/BCP.

At either site, try the Visa you have in your hand, or pocket, it really might work.

Are the Wal-Mart cards the card of choice at the moment? If these have a good track record, I might try it. Any other thoughts?

Both Carbon, and Bovada have live help, or chat help, and they would be able to make suggestions.

I have made the assumption that everyone has a bank account. My bad. For those who exist in a cash only world, and need to occasionally purchase a pre-paid CC, my advice has been useless.

But the support at any site wants your money, and they would probably be the better place to find a valid answer.

This is true, but they don't always know these things; customer service isn't what it used to be. I was hoping to hear from someone who actually deposited using pre-paid card methods, that's all.
