Just Curious.
So, assume that for whatever reason, I'd like my girlfriend, wife, mother, teacher, priest or mistress to send money through one of WU's ATM like machines with my consent. Insert reason here.
Memory serves, you're required to have your ID scanned inside of the machine as you look up in the direction of a small camera that's placed inside of the machine, to have your picture taken. Later, or prior, you enter the recipients numerical information to transfer their funds.
Does the picture process serve any real time function? Barring a reported fraud claim or it's rival/equivalent, by the person who's being represented, obviously long after the transaction were to take place, would the transaction ever be investigated? Would WU immediately halt the transaction should the photo taken by the machine be inconsistent with the picture ID?
Basically, I'd like to know if it's possible to have someone else send money in your name through WU with your consent. If so, but with a twist, what stipulations arise? Notification/verification calls, etc?
