Obviously, sometimes the third party processors that even reputable sites like Bovada use can have shady tactics. In other words, bovada didn't take anything from me, the people who process their deposits did (whether intentional or not, who knows)

Anyhow, I just wanted to see if anyone else had an issue with this recently or if it's an isolated case? Also, I contacted customer service today. My expectation is that they will promptly apologize and credit me the funds either back to my card or on my account with the site. I already sent them my bank statement, which very clearly illustrates the phantom charge. I'm Giving them the allotted 24-48 hours to respond with an update and I'll let you guys know how it works out.

I used debit cards a lot when I played on Bovada ( bodog days ) and never had that happen.

I'm sure with the documentation you showed them they will resolve the situation quickly and relatively satisfactorily since it's never ideal to be double charged. Good luck and please update when you hear from them

I have had it happen in the past both ways, once they had the phantom charge as you said, then just credited my account with the funds. This sort of annoyed me because then its like... what if I didn't want this $ in my account.

And also before they credited my account without taking $ from my transaction "Western Union" back in the day.

I am sure they will clear it up.
