Having trouble getting money in and out of online poker sites? All the information you need is right here.
USA Payment Processors
These are the major payment processors which are currently accepting deposits and/or withdrawals between USA residents and off-shore gaming sites. neteller, the most popular payment method, stopped USA gaming transactions Jan. 17, 2007. For more information, see the Poker Law page. Always use common sense when making online transactions. Always look for the 'https' prefix in the Web address - this means you are on a secure page - when submitting your personal information. Do not submit personal information to a service you have never heard of or which is not associated with an online gaming site you trust. To be safe, do not keep money in an eWallet account! Use eWallets only to transfer money in and out of poker/gaming sites you trust.

By Processor::

Instant Check - This is available at bodog. It is the fastest, easiest, most secure way to make a deposit. Transfer money directly from your bank account to Bodog. No need to deal with 3rd party e-Wallet sites. Some people may have to call customer service to have Instant Check added - it is definitely worth that 5-minute phone call! This is by far the best option available right now and is highly recommended!

ePassporte (Accepted at many online poker sites, takes about 7 days to get an account set up. This is the closest thing to Neteller available and is the most popular option right now - though definitely not perfect, due to the fees and relatively long set-up process)

NuCharge (Only accepted by Bodog, and only for deposits... but only takes about 5 minutes to get set up! NuCharge makes it possible to fund your online poker account using prepaid phone cards. No banking information is required. Cards are available in denominations of $100, $150, $200 and $300.)

Add-Funds (This is the Absolute Poker version of NuCharge. Same company, same basic Web site, works exactly the same way. Accepted at Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet.)

Gift2Go (prepaid visa gift cards, which work on poker stars and some other sites. Always buy a small denomination card, make a test deposit, and if it works at your site of choice, then buy a bigger card to fund your account as normal. And remember: Make sure your test card at least meets the poker site's minimum deposit requirement!)

Visa All Access Debit Cards (Similar to the Gift2Go cards. Do a location search on the site to find retailers of these cards in your area. When ordering online, it takes about a week to get your card in the mail - so buy them at the store!)

WWWCard (Another prepaid Visa gift card.)

GiftCards.com (You guessed it, more gift cards!)

MyWebATM (Accepted at Full Tilt. This works like a regular ATM card but has high fees including $9.95 to receive your card in the mail, $2.50 per ATM transaction and a $3.95 monthly fee. If you can handle the fees, this looks like a great option. Casual players and micro-stakes players should probably look elsewhere. Withdrawals are now available to MyWebATM and are reportedly very quick - money is in your account in a matter of hours.)

EcoCard (This is an eWallet similar to ePassporte and MyWebATM. Accepted at Poker.com.)

eWalletXpress (Accepted at Bodog, this is an eWallet similar to ePassporte, MyWebATM etc.)

i have not made any deposits since neteller closed their doors to US players. my biggest reason for this is because there is not any one site out there that works with the majority of poker sites like neteller did and i really do not want to set up a different account for each poker site i want to deposit to. unfortunately it looks like that is my only option. i have been wanting to play on a lot of different sites that have opened up since the beginning of the year but the hassle of depositing has kept me from doing so. it would be a lot easier if the poker sites got together and allowed transfer from poker site to poker site. at least those poker sites that are part of a network should let you transfer within the network. the lack of ease to deposit funds is hurting the poker industry and they need to realize this and come up with an easier way to get us up and running on their sites. last year i had over a dozen sites with money on them and after the government passed their ridiculous law i only play regularly on 2 now. this is also hurting the forums. i am a member of over a hundred forums and used to play exclusively in forum buyins and freerolls but have stopped cause the forums have moved the majority of their games to new poker sites. i am basically writing this, and will be posting it on many forums, so that maybe someone will finally do something about the way things are done with depositing on poker sites. i dont know why someone hasnt already started a site that can do and offer what neteller did. maybe someone can clearify that for me.

E-passport works for the majority of sites but not all of them. I deposited couple weeks ago on Ultimate Bet and Vegas 24/7. Within 2 days I took my money out of Vegas 24/7 because it is very hard to get your bonus there.

You need to be hands that rake at least $.50 to get a point. This works out to be $10. pots. I play .05-.10 no lim to try to build my bankroll. You don't get bonus points at that level.

Ultimate bet u get bonus at any level u play.

obviously the u.s laws stopped netteller in it's tracks . it's still a thriving business , just not dealing with us players . there would be 20 of them by now if not for our laws . are you a member of ppa ? please join if not.

I loved netteller , it covered all the sites , and everything was instant , I could cash out at the pokersite that day and spent it at walmart that same day with my netteller debit card. (dirty cowards:( )

I have never had any problems depositing at any site with my bank debit cards . it's cashing out that is the problem , I just get the checks sent in mail now but don't like it.

a pro forum buy in player huh , sounds good anyway . we would love to have you join our buy in games when you get the correct number of QUALITY posts (15) . we prefer people who want to have friends and share in the forum , before and after the games. but it's not required.

with over a hundred forums under you belt you probably don't have time for friends or making any actual contribution. good luck :D

thanks for your replys. it looks like more and more sites are starting to pick up on epassporte so that seem to be the way to go these days. still not compairable to neteller in my opinion but for the US players our options are limited.
