Hey guys, this is my first post here and basically I am an idiot. I play on FullTilt and I was doing FullTilt quick deposit and overdrew my account. I won't have the money for a while. (I know I'm dumb and probably will never play poker again) Basically, my question is what does Full Tilt do if you don't pay back the Quick Deposit? I assume something regarding your credit score? But I really have no clue, just a dumb college student who probably should never touch any poker site ever again. The amount is irrelevant but its about 400 dollars. I feel like such an idiot.

It takes about 10 days for the check to clear, at some point in time you didn't realize you didn't have enough money in the bank to cover it.
From your post it sounds like you are not going to make it right?
If that is the case I hope they can trash your credit.
That is not a mistake imo, it is theft.
Good luck.

To answer your question though, I don't think there is alot they will do, but I am not positive on that, I don't personally know anyone who has scammed them.

Turns out I had enough in my account. Barely but thank god. Trust me, I understand the seriousness of this kind of mistake. Glad my credit score and my in general will be okay. Just never play poker again.

It cleared? That is great news, and yes blowing through 400 bucks that quick could be a sign not to play again, lol
I am sorry for my response, we get a lot of first time posters who have similar or I got my account closed stories and usually they are less than honest with their facts in the post.
Good luck and we do have some great info on bank roll management if you decide to play responsibly.
Again I am sorry.

You are the players who make us good players happy, the only worry you have is your credit score, then you should NOT be putting 400 into any site.

Watch he starts at 20.00 NL, trying to be a smart a**.

I forgot that I just had cashed my check for my job with school newspaper before break.

Me and my father had a quick chat and we both agreed it was in my best interests to not play poker until I graduate college and then start at small stakes(1 cent/2cent)

I was intrigued by the online game because my father had made over 25 grand playing online poker the last four years. I guess I don't have his talent. My dad warned me before hand about bankroll managment, needless to say I didn't listen.

Hopefully this can be a lesson for other young college students who have dumb dreams from watching too much of the wsop. Worry about Poker after you get your education.

Your dad was absolutely right about bankroll management, what stakes did he play to win 25 grand?

This is best, you need something else in place, in case poker is not your thing.
I hope the Rest of the ones in college will understand this.

Your deposit being declined has nothing to do with your account being overdrawn... the banks have been ordered by the (US) government (originated with the Bush Administration) not to allow debit/credit cards to be used for internet gaming. It must have taken effect January 2011 because I had no problems in December. I contacted DAD at PS, and they explained the problem. They are trying to work on a resolution. So, the question is... in the meantime, is there a prepaid card that will work? Please advise if you have made a deposit within the last few days. Thanks!
