So I am about to cash out of my bodog account to then redistribute it to my other accounts. What I am curious about is if anyone has had any problems with their banks accepting checks from Bodog?(I don't care about the bounced checks or any other problems like that, just if the bank had accepted the check). Any insight on this would be great, but also wondering, if my bank doesn't accept it, then what will Bodog do to get me my moniez? Thanks guys

I got a check from Bodog just before Christmas and had no issues at my bank. You should be fine. It says nothing on the check about Bodog and mine even came complete with "Consulting Services" in the memo field.

Ok, good. I knew it wouldn't say anything about being from Bodog on their, but with UIGEA, a lot of the banks are blacklisting account numbers of the casinos and they are on the checks, so I just wasn't sure. Thanks WV

Did you attempt to cash your check yet? I also bank with 5/3 and am wondering whether they will accept these checks.

I got the check over the weekend, so I am going to try to cash it today. I won't give any specifics about the check yet until it clears, but it is pretty funny.

Haha, ok, my check cleared. So what I thought was funny about the whole thing is how they have it listed on the check. They have the memo saying the check was for Marketing Payments and it was from a Media company(I won't list the real name just to keep it a little more off record).

It was a piece of cake from Bodog, I was just afraid they were going to deny the deposit.

less said = +EV. When we out these banks and companies publicly on the internet we shoot ourselves in the foot. :(

My thinking exactly. I even tried googling the media company and bank crossreferenced with Bodog and didn't find any real references, so that is good. I'm not the only one trying to keep it on the DL.

I am pretty pissed though. I just tried depositing it to Stars and found out that I can't get it on there through any means besides Western Union now... I might see if I can get it on Tilt and then have someone swap me for Stars.

Bodog has direct deposit withdrawing to your bank account now. Funny/retarded thing is checks get to you faster than the direct depositing does.

Check or international money order

If this option is still available?

Used Moneygram $10, not too long ago for the min. deposit $250. A bit involved: buy locally, mail and took at least 2 weeks.

But I'm cheap, won't pay Western Union rates.

I didn't have the moneygram option available. And I too will not pay Western Union rates...they are just ridiculous. Unless you have an extreme problem or see the biggest fish in the world on that you know will drop stacks left and right to you for hours, it wouldn't be worth it to use WU.
