OK, this might seem weird but I'm having a hard time finding poker sites that take paypal. Why is that?

I know that paypal in the US won't do poker sites, primarily because of most sites being banned in the US.

But I'm in canada, and I have a paypal canada account, with USD in it. I've found a rather convoluted way to get my USD into my Canada account without converting, so if anyone wants to ask me about that please do. From there I can apparently put it to 888 but not PS. Weird, but that's a separate issue I guess.

But I can't find any poker sites where I can easily put USD from my paypal canada account into it and back. They all require ewallets which charge fees, or a credit card which has cash advance and conversion fees.

Any help?

Send the US $ via PayPal to someone who you trust and have them deposit it and transfer it to you, simple, I have done it for a few people here.

As a Canadian, you should really look into instadebit. Instadebit offers unlimited free transactions with poker sites, allows you to keep a CAD and US balance and they only charge you 2 CAD dollars to make a transaction with your bank account.

Thanks for those suggestions, everyone. I'm on 888 and PS a fair bit. With currency conversion fees, credit card cash advance fees, etc etc the "bonus" on a deposit is substantially reduced often to the point where it's hardly an incentive. I'm just looking for a quick and free way to get money to a poker site. It's more difficult that it should be.

I was going to tell you to try GlobalPoker also. So far I've done pretty good. Started with the $2 and the 10,000 Gold Coins and within 2 days I'm up to $16. And Pay Pal is the only deposit/withdraw means for now. GL to you

That sounds like a good start! Thank you for the tip.
