Hey guys, I live in canada and I want to start using entropay (linked to a bank account not a credit card) to play on BetVictor Poker, but my bank (National Bank of Canada) say they cant do it (the manager did not even know what Entropay was). Now anyone here from Canada that can suggest which bank works with Entropay? (remember I want to link a bank account to Entropay, not a credit card).

The possible banks are:
Royal Bank of Canada, Toronto-Dominion Bank, Bank of Nova Scotia, Bank of Montreal and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).

THANKS for the link shellsbells53, according to one guy on that forum, TD bank works with entropay, so I will go check that out. As for why I want to play on BetVictor? Simple answer, they gave me 10$ when I opened the account 3 months ago (without having to deposit) and I have brought that up to about 100$, I kinda would like to be able to withdraw my winnings. One last thing about why I play on Betvictor, I find it easy to win on that site.

BetVictor is another one of those sites I have not heard of. I may look into it. Good luck!

I see they offer paypal as an option. If you are still having issues why not give that method a try. If you don't have a PayPal account. It is just about the easiest thing to set up.

From the betvictor web page.

PayPal is an online Money Transfer service that allows you to transfer funds to and from your betting/gaming account. PayPal is available to all customers when using the following currencies: EUR, GBP, USD, AUD, JPY, HKD, SGD, SEK, DKK, NOK, NZD & CHF.

Paypal is not offered to me on the deposit page of the BetVictor cashier, the only options offered to me are Credit Card(which don't work for Canadian credit cards), Entropay, Paysafecard and International Bank Transfer(these bank transfers are very expensive). The only withdrawal options offered to me are Credit Card, Entropay and International Bank Transfer. Btw I do have a Paypal account, I don't think I have ever seen it offered to me as a deposit/withdrawal option on any site that I have played. Maybe its because I live in Canada.

If they offer Entropay, give them a go. I've had an Entropay account for years and it works wonderfully. I don't know of a single Canadian Credit card that will work for 'gambling' purposes and in the eyes of the Credit Card companies, poker is considered gambling.

Yeah, I never seen it offered anywhere else either. But it is listed on their site. Maby it's just not an option they offer to anyone from Canada. Wouldn't hurt to send support an email an inquire about it.

Do they have player to player transfers ? If so, as a last resort you might be able to find someone to trade funds with.

Really? I've had no problem using my VanCity Visa on pokerstars for years, both for deposit and cashouts. My brother uses a pre-paid Visa with no problems there too.

The other thing you may want to consider is the cashout policy of the poker room.
A lot of poker sites require that you deposit money into your account before you can make a withdrawl.
Don't know if that is an issue with you or not but I thought I would throw that out there.
I use the PC bank for my transfer to my ewallet which is instadebit. If you are unfamiliar with PC financial it is wholly owned by CIBC so either one of those would likely work.
