Does anybody have any experience with the My PaylinQ Deposit/Withdrawal method? It's one of the options at bodog. They tell me it does work in the US, but I haven't tried it. Can anybody verify that it does work? Is it used at any other online rooms?

I get checks as my withdrawal method from Bodog. It's fast and reliable, but there's only one free one per month, so you have to plan ahead. It would be nice to have another free method which you can use more frequently.

Dang, it's been a long time since I've seen you around. To answer your question, I have no used that myself, but I know a buddy who has used it and hasn't had any problems with it. Just wondering, how many times are you withdrawing in a month that you need multiples?

Monthly withdrawal plan

Dang, it's been a long time since I've seen you around. To answer your question, I have no used that myself, but I know a buddy who has used it and hasn't had any problems with it. Just wondering, how many times are you withdrawing in a month that you need multiples?

Yeah, I haven't been around. Been learning how to trade options. It's a lot like poker.

My problem with poker is that in order to play it well, it can be pretty dang boring. You have to be very patient. But I've found that I can play a few sessions a week while watching TV or something. I seem to do best on Bodog for some reason. I play four tables at a time, am disciplined on hand selection, play strong after the flop and fold to most re-raises. And make the occasional steal. I used to try real had. Now that I'm not trying as hard, it seems to be easier. Just take what the game gives you. I play mainly .25/.50 NL.

On FullTilt I have a hard time getting people to make bad calls.

Anyway, I've taken money out of Bodog before. (I also had account wiped out by a hacker). To make it real, I'm going to try to take out some pocket money on a regular basis. I set a goal, and told myself I'd take out $200 after I hit it. A few sessions of spinning the wheels until I hit it, exceeded it and just took out $250.

It's only been a couple days and I'm already at $160 of my next two hundred. But since you can only get a free check once a month, I guess I'll just schedule it that way. I'll set a floor for my account, and at the end of the month I'll withdraw everything in excess. Maybe if it's a whole month I'll get lucky;) and it will be 3 or 4 hundred instead of $200. And if I do better, I might add to my floor, take some money and eventually step up in stakes.

This may not work. I've only taken money out sporadically before, and usually in bigger chunks. I'm just starting with this plan to try to make it a regular thing. But I'll continue with the effort to play good, boring winning poker and see if I can add a couple hundred a month to the pocket.

Thanks for remembering me.

I tried using with my credit cards with mypaylinq.com but all got rejected. I was going to use it with checking acct but I ended up using ewalletexpress to fund my Bodog acct instead. And that I did have to hook it to my checking account and even then it took a week to setup. But I'm all good now.
