Hello. Just want to give an update: On 11/11/12 I 'applied' to get my remaining balance from juicystakes. As with others, it is now more than three months and I have heard nothing. Previous emails assured me I'm "in the queue" - which is crap. And I'm talking about less than $200US.

Never, ever, give these people money.

People who post here saying it is the US government that is causing the problem are either idiots or shills. Juicystakes can send anyone a check for the amount they're owed; this can be done in a couple of days, maximum.

Claims that unspecified problems involving the US government trying to put online poker sites out of business are bunk. Think about it: Why can you get money from other sites, such as Bovada, and not juicystakes? Oh, yeah, right, the government has made juicystakes a target ... but not the others. IDIOTS.

this is the reply I received today from juicystakes following my first inquiry in several months regarding my balance:
Hello
Thank you for your email. Our apologies for the delay with your cashout, I'm afraid we are behind our typical processing times at present but hope to be caught up shortly and have your cashout processed soon.
Regards
Paul

JS withdrawals are taking up to 5 months for US players via check. Them's the breaks.... There are other options available to you

Also, there are issues with processing US player funds that you clearly do not understand. Different processors have different abilities and not everyone in the industry has the right... "setup" nor can they all handle the same amount of volume.

That said, I AGREE WITH YOU... your wait time is entirely too long. My personal opinion is that the network owners of Revolution have financial liquidity concerns. Cake did before they were "purchased" by Lock. Lock operates at insanely thin margins... withdrawal times keep being pushed backwards... there are red flags.

+1. Kahn knows his stuff. Anyone who doesn't know much about the business part of online poker needs to look over his posts.

delays

I probably wasn't clear: I understand there are issues with US payment options; that is apparent. :)

What I'm saying is that JS is able to return money to people if they want to; all they have to do, as you note, is write and mail a check - which is, apparently, what they are doing. They don't appear to have the money to pay people so I guess we should all hope they stay in business long enough to get new money to pay the old players ... which, yes, sounds like a Ponzi scheme . . . :willy:
