I withdrew $300 USD from an unnamed poker site (cause I don't want you all playing there ;) ) on June 24. Requested payment by check from neteller as it's the only method available to me in Belize.
Had to send copy of driver's license & utility bill, await a phone call...
July 3: No email reply, but when I logged into Neteller to see status, it said Refused.
July 3: Re-requested payment.
July 8: Refused.
July 8: wrote email to customer care asking why
July 10: no reply, just auto-acknowledgment , resent email
August 8: list of charges for checks, no new info; re-requested payment
July 14: online chat mentioned Memberwire, so I emailed them with request. Had to decide on GB pounds or Euros as they can't send in USD.
......

This went on & on, with requests for bank information my bank didn't have. I talked to about 15 different people at my bank asking about our bank's IBAN number... I'll spare you all the gruesome details.

When I finally got my money on September 23 - whew! - there was only the equivalent of $242 USD.

Their reply:

In regards to your inquiry, some countries have banks that do not cash international checks (Not ours! Everyone in the country takes USD, and we get a premium on US checks), this is why we were unable to send you one. In regards to the missing $50 on your Member Wire withdrawal I believe it has to do with currency changes. All transactions involving a currency exchange are subject to a currency exchange markup-an average daily inter-bank market rate published by a third party foreign currency data provider plus 2.5%. NETELLER retains this amount as a foreign exchange processing fee to protect against exchange rate fluctuations. The transaction also costed $12.75 USD.

Ignoring spelling & grammatical errors, they never mentioned the service charges in all my correspondence, they required that my money be exchanged into another currency, then it had to get exchanged back into USD on arrival here... They took my money instantly from my credit card, but getting anything back is like pulling teeth.

I understand they can't send USD to the US. But why not to another country?

Sorry about being so long-winded, but I have this lovely new forum to vent in, and I'm VENTING! :D

I thought Neteller was dead and gone along time ago. Anyone know if Ultimate Bet is planning on returning a free edposit withdrawal?
