I tried to cash out money won exclusively through cardschat freerolls at Betonline poker and was denied. Then I contacted support and they said I need to deposit and roll all the money over at least once :( Is this how it is suppose to work?

As for the deposit, in almost all the rooms you need to make your first deposit before withdrawing money. About CC freerolls, may be you received a bonus and you need roll this money, or CC freerolls really have the bonus money at Betonline.

All sites make you deposit first before allowing withdrawals, I haven't heard about any playthrough requirements.

I have read this this in regards to a few different sites.. Thankfully haven't ran into this problem, other than having to gather an unspecified amount of points on juicy stakes in order to cashout freeroll winnings, although in the past I never had any type of restrictions!! I guess it it what it is, and I glad I haven't ran into this problem cashing out my frreeroll winnings on other sites/networks!

This simply isn't true.. I have withdrew from plenty of sites from grinding freeroll winnings, WITHOUT having to deposit prior.. Not sure where u got ur info, but it is simply wrong.. I have withdrawn from Juicy Stakes, intertops, Carbon, Acr, and BCP without depositing prior... Mind all my winnings were generated from freeroll winnings! Only U.S. facing site that I know of that requires a deposit prior to withdrawing is FullFlush, (and after r4ading a current thread, Betonline.)

Yes - it is very standard across the board - not just at BOL.

just make the minimum deposit and you should be able to get it all back. Just play the lowest staked tourneys till you clear the bonus that way you dont have to worry about losing your money and you gain experience :) GOODLUCK

So basically is there a rollover requirement on the deposit made to withdraw freeroll winnings or is only a deposit sufficient to make a withdrawal at betonline?

i am interested in this. so first you have to make 500 dollars, then pay a 25 dollar check cashing fee, and now i find out you have to make a deposit lol how many roadblocks are they going to create for a freeroller who only wants to play poker and not deal with 50 strings attached. This is why internet poker is dying to much bs

What are the play requirements for cashing out of BOL / SB ?

I have been playing 25nl on there for quite a while with winnings from freerolls here, and it appears none of the money has been released in the cashier ? Does anyone here have any idea on their policies ? Kinda seems dumb if you cant actually use any of the freeroll money lol . . .

BOL and SB freerolls are scams . . .

After winning some money through freerolls on here on BOL and SB, I had ran up a small BR on both sites. Having never played there before I looked into testing their payouts before further play. This is when I noticed none of my money showed up in the cashier. So after extensive back and forth with customer service, I was pointed to this rule which I have never seen at any other poker site.

  1. Players who generate winnings from a poker freeroll and have no previous deposit are required to make a minimum deposit and roll this over at least once in the sportsbook prior to any payout being approved.
To me this is an a redic rule that is a complete ****ing joke ! Been playing poker since 2007 and I have never seen anything like that. A deposit requirement on top of a casino rollover requirement.

I will no longer be providing this site any rake, only playing the CC freerolls for points because the money won is essentially play money . . .

How is free money a scam though?
There's a lot of poker sites that require a minimum deposit in order to even play free rolls in the first place.

Then its not a freeroll , like I said rake requirements are normal. Deposit requirements are not and especially ones with a casino playthrough requirement.

It's not free money, if you cant get it lol, it is play money . . .

But it says you can get it once you meet the rollover. If you are a winning poker player then I don't see how the rollover would be any trouble.

Not cool. I try and read the fine print before investing time in any site.

Ok I want to make an amendment, apparently it is just worded really badly. After more discussions with support I was able to cash out the majority of my winnings via bitcoin. I now have much better faith in BOL and SB than I did previously. If you play enough on the site even poker counts and I didnt have to deposit, just need to contribute enough rake.
