What site or sites are the best if you plan on playing small stakes , and want to be able to receive pay outs as fast as possible?
also what sites seem to be the most trusted? im just now getting into online poker , i was a skeptic for years , im quite overwhelmed , with bonuses , different freerolls , figuring which site is best for me ( i live in illinois) , and then the bighgest overwhelming factor is finding the right game , please offer up any advice

i know thats more than one subject but i figured why start two threads

I have been with Bovada for about 4 months. I have started with $10 off a freeroll and turned it into $150 (My friends say I suck at holdem). I play $1 sng and $1 mtt mostly.
Still have not made a deposit or a withdrawal so no answer but I hear they are really easy.
Also where in Illinois Northern, Central or Southern

If you have never withdrawn from any site, be prepared for what will seem like an intrusive questionnaire in order to 'verify' your account. It's a one time process, any every site will do it to you.

If you deposited recently, you may already be verified.

But don't freak out. Surprisingly, many do. Then they relent, and get their monies.

I requested my debit card about a month ago and I have just now received the debit card. I have yet to use the card, but I'm excited now that the worst part is behind me. I hear that once you receive the card it takes less than 48 hours to receive the funds onto your card!!!

Wow. That is crazy. My 1st and only cash out was a breeze. All that they requested was a picture of my drivers license. The check was cut and at my home in 6 days.

Might be longer if you request on Thursdays or Fridays. One of the entities (either WPN or the CC company) does not process withdrawals/deposits on the weekends. My last request took about 36 hours, might have been faster because I was not running any speed test and did not check until about 36 hours.

Beware with those Debit Cards that there are fee's associated with everything. If you use it they charge a fee, if you don't use it, they charge a fee, if you ask about it, they will charge a fee. I withdraw at the casinos where I pay a fee to the company running the machine, ($3.00). Choice of methods when withdrawing is important. If I choose the wrong method, the fee will be different. One fee would be $36.00. I think that is a CC advance. Cancel if you see that big fee, and try a different method. I have also withdrawn at a major bank ATM with a $5.00 fee to the bank, and again at the teller window of my bank with no fee, but a limit of $1K.

Bottom line IMHO is that the debit cards are great if you win big, and costly for small money transactions.

I wouldn't put too much stock in that ^
I would imagine it's a bit different for me as I am in canada but my experience with Bodonka has been closer to 12-14days to receive a cheque in the mail.

Not being from the US myself but I do have accounts on BCP, ACR, True, Bodonka & Carbon and out of those I would personally go with BCP & Bodonka. Awhile back I would've said Carbon for sure but I really don't like the changes they've made on there over the past year & traffic has dropped considerably (ie. no player-to-player transfers, tournaments have extremely long late reg. (3hrs. ffs!), withdrawals have gotten slower, site traffic has dropped).

If I was a newer player I would probably download it too.... & then hope to pick up a few dollars in a freeroll or two & then attempt to build up a bankroll in the micros. If anything it'll give you the oppurtunity to find more games you might be able to play in, giving you a chance to gain more experience.

I really love Bovada. They are really quick and I have received a few checks so far. I highly recommend Bovada and LiveAce.

Bovada sent my check faster than any other site ever.

With a minimum $50 withdraw, one check per month without fees...pretty good.

Thank you all very much for your information. I have a post under another thread about how high the fees are at BetOnline. I will now try Bovada. I love PokerStars, but being in the US that doesn't work for me anymore :(
