I was just wondering if anyone has used the money gram option. Is it quick and reliable? I know the max is $299 and the fee is $60. I am a player in the US. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For deposits in the rooms I use skrill. It's convenient and I like it.

I don't have skrill as an option. I have bitcoin, crypto(I am not at all familiar with those and how they work) bank draft and moneygram.

I have never withdrawn so I unsure of the details. I have only deposited via Monneygram on ACR.

I am guessing you are from US so none of the ewallets will work for you those are normally what I use to withdraw from ACR.

I have withdrawn from another US poker Room with Monneygramm though it was quick money available to pick up in less than 3 days and they covered the fee. I do not know if ACR covers the fees if you withdraw a certain amount.

I also saw a couple members posted that they do cheque withdrawal maybe something you can look into. Bitcoin is fastest way to withdraw although ACR does not charge fees on this, to get your Bitcoin or any Crypto Currency to cash will cost you fees not to mention they charge you to move it.

Check with ACR rep here --> https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-rooms-10/official-acr-thread-217550/
They might be able to assist you better with any questions.

Skrill and NETELLER are not available options for players in the U.S.A. So.. not really very helpful to Original Poster unless perhaps they're planning on moving abroad.
fwiw, those deposit/withdrawal options are no longer available to Canadians either. :(

Splitpot, 20% ($60 on a $299 WD) seems just massive! Not many players would be able to sustain a winrate when having to pay 20% on their withddrawals. If playing tournaments, factor in a rake/fee of 10% & then add the 20% you're paying to get your money off the site... Yikes!!! (I suppose it's not that much higher vs. cashing in the wsop & paying tax on it.).

I personally don't know much about it as I haven't been able to play on ACR for over a year now (due to my Operating System being outdated on my computer) BUT I would look into using Bitcoin method. It sounds the fastest & cheapest! (pretty sure there will be some threads/posts with information about it here on CC & am also sure that some with experience would be happy to walk you through it)

I agree with you 100% and I do not understand why they can't raise the MG max cashouts to at least 5 grand. I have had bad experiences with bank tellers so I really don't like the bank draft option. Thanks for the input.

I personally haven't, but someone who plays at the cardroom I play at live and got me into online poker said they choose the check option and it's been working out for them(I think they only withdrew $5000 or less at a time).

Been a while back but I used Western Union cash out once on ACR paid $60 fee and I think it took a day and a half for approval and then I got instructions and went and picked it up. I am sure MG probably exact same process. I have only used crypto cash outs since they made them available so this was before that.

Use a check with no (Zero!) fee. I got a check last year in about a week.

Some of these (like Neteller) are not available in the US. I tried it and not available. Just as an FYI

I would like to try the bitcoin but it all seems so complicated. I did a check withdraw about a year ago and went to my wife's bank and the atm wouldn't take it so we went to the teller all relaxed and cool and after about 10 minutes she informed us that it couldn't be verified so she couldn't take it. Very annoying...

The bank account must be in your name as well. You will have to deposit it and wait for them to clear it they will not cash it immediately for you. The bigger the amount the more time they make you wait. For me anything over 1K I have to wait 45 working days to get one cashed from pokerstars while a smaller one took 3 days.

For bitcoin you need a couple of things. You need a wallet to store your coins and you need some way to get the coins to cash in your hand.

Check out Bitpay if you are in US they have a visa Card to persons in US. If you able to get one you will be able to withdraw funds from ACR to your Bitpay account and then load the Visa card with it and use the Visa anywhere that takes Visa to shop or withdraw via atm.

Bitpay or something similar may work for you just make sure and do your due diligence in researching the site check reviews, reputation etc. There are a lot of scammers out there many claim to big companies.

There are YouTube videos on depositing/withdrawing from ACR or Bovada/ignition using bitcoin.

So there is another easier way to do the whole Bitcoin thing. If it's something your interested in pm me and I'll give you the details. I would post it but I don't want to promote anything in the forum.

to be frank the best way to recharge is neteller since it only charges you 2 dollars for every 50 that for two hundred dollars it would be 8 so you do not spend much in commission of recharge

@OP; greetings

Something you might want to check into with bitcoin is the shift debit card from coinbase, you can get cash in hand immediately with your bitcoin or use it on everyday purchases. coinbase setup is easy trust me. once you get account receiving the bitcoin is as simple as copying an address on a 'recieve' button on your bitcoin wallet and pasting it into the address on the ACR withdraw form. ACR will ship you BTC, use that btc to buy the debit card, wait a short time and then get the debit card and go to Wal-mart/favorite grocery store and get cashback on your purchases.
