Ok i talked to a support person on minted ( they are quite helpful ) and asked them How i can withdraw from minted via WU (western union) now this might sound steep at 1st but bare with me.

They requite 100$ min. Deposit 1st ( and i believe its a 12 dollar fee ) afterwards you need 100$ min to withdraw via WU.

Again for low stakes players this may be steep, but the great thing about it is once you do this 1 time, you can withdraw via WU free of charge, with min. of 100$. Also it is a 24-48 hour time for withdraw to a Land WU. And they pay the withdraw fees.

I have not done this yet, but when I get enough money I am going to experiment with this. And will let you guys know if this is the best way to withdraw and deposit on minted.

I have done 5 WU withdrawals from Minted. 4 of 5 of them were processed within 24 hours, the other within 3 days. Definitely nice to have cash in hand a day after cashing out.

Warning -- you need to deposit via WU before you can initiate WU withdrawals.

read this info on another forum. hope it is OK to post it here. it will save you a few $$$ if you send her an email after your deposit.
WU 1st deposit fees up to $12 covered by sending an email to "reena@mintedpoker.eu"

I have yet to make a deposit to this site, bit might consider it since cake and merge cant get it together. I have no clue why it takes so long to withdraw but just a few mins to deposit.

No, not sure if Dakota has implemented this yet, but minted is a very low traffic site, really not worth it IMO unless you want to dominate any MTTs since it they never get higher than 100 people :p

Fortunately player liquidity shot up this week quite a bit. You'll notice 24-hour peak cash game traffic has gone up 120-150 overnight. Average numbers may see more than that (2+2 members have been saying 200+). Apparently the network just added a few new Italian :)D) skins.

I do wish they could get together a better tournament schedule. But Minted's new guarantees weren't even being met after they were giving out 5-10 free tickets a day, so it's not that much of a surprise. I'm hoping some of this traffic gets steered towards MTTs, really need some improvement there.

If the traffic is low and they have guarantee tournaments, is it safe to assume they have big overlays? That is definitely a big plus.

The guarantees generally aren't that big. The rebuys generally meet their guarantees; sometimes the freezeouts have overlay.

The Minted-exclusive guarantees more often have overlays, but they are messing around with them and I wouldn't be surprised if they cut them out entirely, since players don't seem that interested.

Anytime Guys :) Tell others, I still hate that slow traffic it has, but if it ever gets up around carbon status, might be a well worth site to play on. Software is on the slow side, but they may update this. Only time will tell :)

I noticed that more and more rooms started allowing US players. bodog changed it's web address to .eu a few months ago. I wonder if that is their loop hole and they use foreign money handlers? Maybe that's why some sites have to start charging withdrawel fees now.

Thanks for the info guys. Wish I had time to play more but between work and the family, it's tough to squeeze in a few hours sometimes. Maybe I will download them around the holidays and play for a while.

Are there other deposit and withdrawel methods available? I don't necessarily have to have money in the account immediately or have cash in hand immediately. I would prefer a more convenient less expensive method if possible.
